A preventive and therapeutic method for hypertension by dosing hexose phosphate calcium which produces an immediate effect without having any undesirable side-effects to control a rise in the blood pressure, and is efficacious also for various diseases of which onset can be ascribed to hypertension, such as myocardial infarction, cerebral apoplexy, cirrhosis of livers, billiary stasis, and others.

A medical composition for external application comprises a dialkyl phosphate represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently represent a hydrocarbon group having from 6 to 24 carbon atoms, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 independently represent hydrocarbon group having from 2 to 6 carbon atoms, m and n independently represent a value of from 0 to 20, and x represents a hydrogen atom or a salt of an alkali metal and the like. In the presence of the dialkyl phosphate, percutaneous intake of medically active ingredients is highly enhanced. Examples of the medically active ingredients directed to in the invention include antiinflammatory agents such as ethyl aminobenzoate; adrenocortical hormones such as hydrocortisone; etc. The inventive composition is highly safe without giving any stimulation to the skin.

Medical composition for external application

A composition for cleansing and wiping skin in the circumanal region which comprises at least one oil selected from the group consisting of jojoba oil, natural squalane and glycerin tri-2-ethylhexanoate. The composition according to the invention is preferably used after excrement is wiped off with usual toilet paper and facilitates removal of excrement residues on the skin of circumanal region. Besides, when the composition is applied to the circumanal skin prior to defecation, it prevents excrement from sticking to the skin or makes excrement easy to be wiped off. The composition may be sprayed on conventional toilet paper or impregnated into nonwoven fabric, cloth, paper etc. on application. Such materials containing the composition according to the invention is effective in preventing any aggravation to hemorrhoids or the like.

Composition for cleansing and wiping skin

A composition of cleansing and wiping skin in the circumanal region which comprises at least one oil selected from the group consisting of vegetable oils, animal oils and synthetic oils, and a silicone oil and has a viscosity of not more than 30 cs as measured at 5.degree.0 C. The composition according to the invention is preferably used after excrement is wiped off with usual toilet paper and facilitates removal of excrement residues on the skin of circumanal region. Besides, when the composition is applied to the circumanal skin prior to defecation, it prevents excrement from sticking to the skin or makes excrement easy to be wiped off. Composition for cleansing and wiping the circumanal region

A hair grower for animals comprising coix seeds or an extract thereof is disclosed. Also disclosed a method for increasing animal's hair in which animals are fed with a feed containing such hair grower.
