A power supply system for a vehicle is provided, and the system may include: a charging inlet connected to a main battery and connectable to a power supply external to the vehicle; a voltage converter configured to step down a power of the main battery by a switching element and supply the stepped-down power to a sub-battery; and a controller configured to control the voltage converter, in which the controller is configured to slow down a switching speed of the switching element, as compared with when the main battery is not being charged, while the charging inlet is connected to the power supply and the main battery is being charged by the power supply.

A bus bar module equipped with a current sensor includes a first bus bar, a second bus bar, a substrate, and a first magnetoelectric transducer. The first bus bar has a first notch. The second bus bar has a second notch and is placed in parallel to the first bus bar. The second notch is provided at a position different from the first notch in an extending direction of the first bus bar. The substrate is fitted to both the first notch and the second notch. Further, the substrate is sandwiched between those side surfaces of the first bus bar and the second bus bar which are opposed to each other. The first magnetoelectric transducer is placed inside the first notch and fixed to the substrate.

Bus bar module

A bus bar module includes a first bus bar, a second bus bar, and a first magnetoelectric transducer. The second bus bar is placed in parallel to the first bus bar. The first magnetoelectric transducer is placed so as to be opposed to a side surface of the first bus bar. A sectional area of the first bus bar is smaller than a sectional area of the second bus bar in a first section. The first section is a section passing through the first magnetoelectric transducer and perpendicular to an extending direction of the first and second bus bars.

A battery is divided into a plurality of battery blocks. An amount of current flowing into a coil is rapidly changed by a switching element so as to raise the output voltage of one battery block. The power of the battery block is transferred to another battery block by utilizing the thus-raised voltage. This operation is subsequently repeated for each battert block. Thus, all the blocks are subsequently completely discharged for achieving the equalization of the amount of charge of each block.

It is discriminated in an ignition timing control system for an internal combustion engine whether the ignition timing arithmetically calculated on the basis of sensed operating conditions of the engine lies within a predetermined range of ignition timing. When the result of discrimination indicates that the calculated ignition timing lies within the predetermined range, ignition occurs at that instant, while when the result of discrimination indicates that the calculated ignition timing does not lie within the predetermined range, the result of calculation is disregarded, and ignition occurs at a predetermined instant.

An ignition timing control apparatus for an internal combustion engine detects the rotational angle and intake vacuum of the engine to control the ignition timing of the engine in accordance with the computation of computing means on the detected signals, and on the other hand the vibration of the engine is detected to detect the occurrence of knock and thereby to correct the ignition timing in response to the detection of knock. An ignition timing control system is provided with an ignition timing computing unit which determines a maximum acceleration ignition advance .alpha. ACMAX in accordance with an intake pressure difference P and a water temperature T of the engine. When an acceleration is detected by a rapid movement of an acceleration pedal, the maximum acceleration ignition advance is added to the normal ignition advance. Thereafter, the maximum acceleration ignition advance is gradually reduced to zero in accordance with the lapse of time or a change in the engine speed.
