A display device includes a display part, a storage stores original image data of an original image, a detector detects a touch operation being performed on a screen of the display part, and outputs touch position information indicating a touch position, and a controller displays a base image by resizing the original image according to a display resolution of the display part on the display part. When the touch operation is detected, the controller determines an enlargement target area that is a part of area on the base image including a position corresponding to the touch position, resizes and cuts an area on the original image to generate a partial enlarged image in which the enlargement target area is enlarged, the area corresponding to the enlarged target area, and display the base image and the partial enlarged image which is displayed over a part of the base image.

Display device

A projecting device includes a projector configured to project a projection image including a content image onto a projection surface; detectors configured to detect a target position at which the content image is to be projected; an image processor configured to generate the projection image; a driver configured to change an orientation of the projector in order to change a projection position of the projection image; and a controller configured to control the image processor to set a position of the content image included in the projection image in order to minimize a difference between a display position of the content image and the target position when an optical axis of the projector is orthogonal to the projection surface, and control the driver to set the orientation of the projector in order to project the projection image at the target position on the projection surface.

A projection device includes a detection unit configured to detect a specific object, a projection unit configured to project a projection image indicated by a video signal, a drive unit configured to change the direction of the projection unit so as to change a projection position of the projection image, and a controller configured to control the drive unit. The controller controls the drive unit such that the drive unit performs a first control in which the projection image is projected at a position following the motion of the specific object detected by the detection unit and a second control in which the projection position of the projection image is changed according to the video signal.

With a large capacity of an optical disk and high-speed recording, a frequency of a recording signal is increased and a pulse width is narrowed. In the case that a laser is driven by a signal having the short pulse width, unfortunately the high-speed recording is hardly performed to an optical disk when a rise time and a fall time of the optical pulse are lengthened. During user data recording, a bottom driving current is set to a second bottom driving current value that is a current value of a threshold or less, so that the rise time and the fall time of the optical pulse can be shortened to perform the high-speed recording of the optical disk.

A first detector receives reflected light from an object lens optical system, a second detector receives reflected light from a prescribed information layer, a positional deviation determination unit determines positional deviation between a focal point of a light beam and a point where information on the prescribed information layer is recorded or reproduced, on the basis of a signal from the second detector, a stray light determination unit determines a surface stray light component which is reflected light from the surface of an optical disk and is included in the signal from the positional deviation determination unit, on the basis of the signal from the first detector, and a stray light correction unit corrects the signal output from the positional deviation determination unit on the basis of the surface stray light component thus determined.

A method for inspecting an optical information storage medium includes the steps of: irradiating the storage medium with a laser beam and rotating the medium by a constant linear velocity control technique by reference to the radial location at which the laser beam forms a spot on the medium; changing the rotational velocities according to the radial location on the medium between at least two linear velocities that include a first linear velocity Lvand a second linear velocity Lvhigher than the first linear velocity Lv; generating a focus error signal and/or a tracking error signal based on the light reflected from the medium; performing a focus control and/or a tracking control on the laser beam that irradiates the medium based on the focus and/or tracking error signal(s); and passing the branched outputs of control loops for the focus and/or tracking error signal(s) through predetermined types of frequency band-elimination filters for the focus and/or tracking error signal(s) to obtain residual errors of the focus and/or tracking error signal(s) and comparing the residual errors to predetermined reference values.

A disk motor which rotationally drives an optical disk; a rotational phase detector which detects a rotational phase thereof; an optical head having a collecting lens which collects an optical bean; a light detector and an LE signal generator which detect a position of the collecting lens in the optical head as a position signal; an LE signal memory recorder and an LE signal memory which store, in synchronization with a rotational phase to be detected by the rotational phase detector, the positional signal from the LE signal generator; an LE signal memory regenerator which outputs as a correction signal, in synchronization with a rotational phase to be detected, the positional signal which has already been detected; a subtractor; an LE signal filter, a drive circuit and a Tk actuator which move the collecting lens using a signal from the subtractor; and a low pass filter which reduces a high-frequency component of the correction signal are provided.

An optical disk apparatus according to the present invention generates a divided clock signal by dividing a recording clock signal, and based on the divided clock signal, determines a test emission pattern for test recording which is used for controlling the power of a light beam that is output from an emission section. When the linear velocity at recording changes, the division ratio is adjusted in a direction of reducing a change in frequency of the divided clock signal. In an optical disk apparatus which performs laser power control by conducting a test emission with multipulses in a test area, a good detection accuracy of a multi-pulse average value can be maintained even at high x-speeds.

An optical disk device includes a DPDTE signal generating section that detects misalignment between a light spot and a mark or a pit, an FE signal generating section, an optical crosstalk correcting section which corrects a signal output by the FE signal generating section using the DPDTE signal generating section, and a focus control section which controls an actuator so that a light beam converges on an information layer. The DPDTE signal generating section detects the misalignment on the basis of phase information obtained from signals received from predetermined light receiving areas. The optical crosstalk correcting section performs a correcting operation of removing a signal component from predetermined receiving areas of a detector which component is used for a DPDTE signal, the signal component being contained in the signals from the predetermined light receiving areas of the detector which signals are used by the FE signal generating section.
