A television camera having a photo-taking lens, an image pick-up device to take an image of a photographic object formed on its image pick-up surface by the photo-taking lens, a synchronous signal generator to control operations of the pick-up device, and an electronic view finder which displays the photographic object image based on an image pick-up signal obtained by the pick-up device. In this type of camera, there are further provided a detecting device to detect a focussed state of the photographic object image formed on the above-mentioned image pick-up surface, and a pattern generator to generate a pattern signal corresponding to the detected state. On the basis of the synchronous signal from the above-mentioned synchronous signal generator, an output from the pattern generator can be displayed at a predetermined position on the image surface of the above-mentioned electronic view finder.

Television camera

A regulator is provided which includes a housing, a seesaw-like operating member supported by the housing, a projection provided on the operating member, two movable members rotatably supported by the housing to push back the projection in a predetermined direction, a spring secured to these movable members to bias them in opposite directions, and limit member provided on the housing to determine the approach limit amount of the two movable members, a resistor provided on the housing, and a sliding brush coupled to the operating member to slide on the resistor.

Electrical resistance regulator

This specification discloses a moving picture camera provided with a cam cylinder for transferring movable lens groups, a motor for rotating the cam cylinder, a rotary type resistor having its adjusting shaft coupled to a cam ring through a gear train and to which a constant voltage is applied, a differentiation circuit for differentiating the output voltage of the resistor to detect any variation in rotational speed of the cam cylinder, and an electric circuit for inputting the output signal of the differention circuit to the motor with a zooming speed indication signal, thereby eliminating any speed fluctuation during zooming.
