The present invention relates to an azo dye composition for hair dyeing that has an excellent performance as a dye for hair dyeing and proves negative in the Ames test, and also relates to a method for producing the composition. An object of the present invention is to develop a purification method for a dye composition for hair dyeing mainly containing an azo dye and proving negative in the Ames test, and to provide the dye composition for hair dyeing that is produced by applying the purification method and indicates negative in the Ames test. The dye composition for hair dyeing contains, as a main component, the azo dye having trimethylammonio, and the dye composition for hair dyeing is characterized in that the result of the Ames test is negative.

Dye composition for hair dyeing and method for producing the same

A RF switch can be used in a wide frequency range and can be manufactured at a low cost. The RF switch changes a signal passing through a waveguide with a variable device that is switchable between the first state in which the variable device has a high resistance and the second state in which the variable device has a low resistance, depending on the direction in which current flows through the variable device. The RF switch includes a high-frequency transmission circuit including the waveguide and at least one variable device, a driver circuit including at least one variable device, and a signal circuit for changing current supplied to the variable devices of the high-frequency transmission circuit and the driver circuit for switching between the first and second states of the variable devices. The variable devices are disposed such that the variable device of the high-frequency transmission circuit and the variable device of the driver circuit are in different states as viewed from the junction between the drive circuit and the high-frequency transmission circuit.

RF switch

A microactuator includes a stationary element, a movable element, and a first microstructure. The stationary element is fixed on a substrate and has a plurality of stationary element electrodes arranged at a predetermined pitch. The movable element has a plurality of movable element electrodes opposing to the stationary element electrodes. The movable element is moved by applying a voltage across the stationary element and the movable element. The first microstructure is formed on at least one of the opposing surfaces of the movable element and the stationary element to prevent the movable element from attaching to the stationary element.

Method of manufacturing a micromechanical structure

A micro-machine switch in accordance with the present invention includes a supporter having a predetermined height relative to a surface of a substrate, a flexible cantilever projecting from the supporter in parallel with a surface of the substrate, and having a distal end facing a gap formed between two signal lines, a contact electrode formed on the cantilever, facing the gap, a lower electrode formed on the substrate in facing relation with a part of the cantilever, and an intermediate electrode formed on the cantilever in facing relation with the lower electrode. The micro-machine switch can operate at a lower drive voltage than a voltage at which a conventional micro-machine switch operates, and can enhance a resistance of an insulating film against a voltage.

Micromachine switch and its production method

A method of manufacturing a high-gain, high-frequency device, such as a phased-array antenna, which uses such a switch having movable parts as a micromachine switch. The high-frequency device comprises a dielectric substrate on which are formed a plurality of waveguides for carrying high-frequency signals, a phase control layer, and dielectric spacers arranged between the phase control layer and another layer to provide space in which a switch formed in the phase control layer is enclosed.

An electrostatic actuator has: an upper structure that is connected, via an arm, to a supporting base provided on a substrate and is supported in a space existing over the substrate; a lower structure that is provided in a substrate position in such a way as to oppose the upper structure; an inclination structure that is provided with respect to either one of the upper structure and the lower structure so as to make small the distance between the upper structure and the lower structure; and one or more electrodes that are provided with respect to the other structure in corresponding relationship to the inclination structure.

Electrostatic actuator

A micromachine includes a switch having a supporting member provided on a substrate. The supporting member is adjacent to a gap between a signal line and the substrate and has a predetermined height with respect to the substrate. A flexible beam member projects from the supporting member generally parallel to the substrate and extends so that part of the flexible member faces the gap. A contact electrode on the beam member faces the gap. A lower electrode on the substrate faces part of the beam member. Part of the beam member is conductive to function as an upper electrode. The thermal expansion coefficients of the beam member are almost symmetric in the thickness direction perpendicular to the substrate surface, at least from the portion at which the beam member is connected to the supporting member to the portion facing the lower electrode.

A relatively small phased array antenna is formed at a low cost even if the number of radiating elements increases in order to improve the gain. The phased array antenna has a multilayered structure in which a number of radiating elements ( ), a phase shift unit ( ) for changing the phase of an RF signal transmitted/received at each radiating element, and a distribution/synthesis unit ( ) are formed on different layers. A phased-array antenna apparatus used in a microwave or milliwave band and having a high gain includes a multilayer structure. The multilayer structure is constituted by M radiating elements, M phase shifters, phase shifting control circuits, and a feeding unit. The phase shifters are respectively coupled to the radiating elements to shift the phase of a feeding signal supplied to each of the radiating elements in units of N (M and N are integers equal to or larger than two) bits.
