Provided is a cooling device with which it is possible to cool a fluid to be cooled, even before maintenance work, if a fault such as a blockage or a breakage occurs in a part of a channel. The cooling device () is provided with four heat exchangers (A-D) and a plurality of heat exchanger connection parts (-), each of the heat exchanger connection parts allowing natural gas to flow therethrough. Each of the heat exchangers has: a drum (, fourth drum), a refrigerant reservoir (T), a plurality of heat exchanger core parts () immersed in liquid propane in the refrigerant reservoir (T), and a demister (). A plurality of cooling channels allowing natural gas to flow therethrough are installed, independent of each other, from the first heat exchanger (A) to the fourth heat exchanger (D).

In a heat exchanger of the present invention, a release port for, in a case where a fluid flows into an internal space, releasing the fluid to an exterior is provided in a protection unit main body of each of protection units arranged on both outer sides of a heat exchange unit, and a protection unit fin plate of the protection unit has such strength that a coupling state between an outer surface of an outermost-layer partition plate and a bonding plate of the protection unit main body facing the outer surface is maintained even in a case where an inner pressure set as a design pressure for a part of the heat exchange unit constituting an outermost-layer flow passage adjacent to the protection unit is applied to the internal space of the protection unit main body of the protection unit.

Plate fin heat exchanger and repair method for plate fin heat exchanger

A heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger body having a plurality of layer portions each having a plurality of flow paths, and having a configuration in which adjacent layer portions are joined to each other, an inflow header being configured that a fluid is introduced into the inflow header to flow into the plurality of flow paths, an outflow header being configured that a fluid flowing through the plurality of flow paths merges, a cover portion covering all joint portions of the adjacent layer portions or all joint portions of components of layer portions, the joint portions exposed on an outer surface of the heat exchanger body at a portion other than a portion where the inflow header and the outflow header are disposed, and a lead-out portion connected to the cover portion and forming an internal flow path communicating with a space between the cover portion and the heat exchanger body. The lead-out portion is configured to emit a fluid to a predetermined region set in advance.

Heat exchanger

A plate fin heat exchanger of the present invention includes a heat exchange part including a heat exchange part main body including layers of plural flow passages, and heat transfer members each of which is disposed within each flow passage of the heat exchange part main body to transfer the heat of fluid flowing in each of the flow passages to each partition walls opposed across the flow passage; and sensing parts connected to both the outsides of the heat exchange part respectively. Each of the sensing parts includes plural sealed spaces, and a sensor wall disposed to separate the outermost sealed space from the sealed space on the inner side thereof. The plate fin heat exchanger further includes a detection means for detecting damage of the sensor wall of the sensing part. According to such a structure, external leak of the fluid performing the heat exchange can be prevented while suppressing deterioration of performance or increase in size or weight.

Plate fin heat exchanger

A heat exchanging device of a gas liquefying plant including a precooling section with a single component refrigerant system, a liquefying section with a multi-component refrigerant system where the liquefying section has an array of plate-fin type heat exchangers installed in a vertical orientation with their hot end being set at an upper part of a refrigerating container and its cold end being set at a lower part of the refrigerating container. The plate-fin type heat exchangers are divided into predetermined temperature cooling ranges arranged in a vertical orientation with the hottest end being placed at the upper part and the coldest end being placed at the lower part of the refrigerating container.

To prevent with certainty corrosion by mercury even in nonoperating of plant facilities, plate fins 1 and flat plates 2 of flow passage members constituting cooled fluid passages and refrigerant passages are formed by an aluminum alloy and on surfaces of the plate fins 1 and the flat plates 2, an oxide film formed by a reaction between the aluminum alloy and an oxidizing component in an oxidizing gas is formed, or a hydroxide film formed by a reaction between the aluminum alloy and an alkaline component in an alkaline aqueous solution is formed.

Plate fin heat exchanger and method of making thereof

This invention relates to a gas liquefying method in which a power saving of a compressor for refrigerant can be attained. The pre-cooled gas flow, the high pressure vapor flow and the high pressure condenced liquid flow obtained by gas-liquid separation of partial condensed high pressure multi-component refrigerant are fed from the upper part of the high temperature region of the upright plate-fin type heat exchanger having its upper side applied as the high temperature region and its lower side applied as the low temperature region so as to be cooled, the cooled gas flow and the high pressure vapor flow are fed from the upper part of the low temperature region into the different flow passages so as to be cooled there, the liquefied gas is recovered from the lower part of the low temperature region, the vapor part and the liquid part obtained by expanding the liquefied high pressure vapor flow extracted from the lower part of the low temperature region are separated into gas and liquid, thereafter they are mixed to each other, fed from the lower part of the different flow passage in the low temperature region, used as the source of cold heat, then the mixture is extracted from the upper part of the low temperature region, mixed with a flow obtained by expanding the high pressure condensed liquid flow of the multi-component refrigerant passed through the high temperature region and further the mixture is divided into gas and liquid, the vapor part and the liquid part are mixed to each other, fed from the lower part of the different flow passage in the high temperature region and used as a source of cold heat, and extracted from the upper part of the high temperature region, compressed and cooled and further it is circulated as the partial condensed high pressure multi-component refrigerant.
