An absorbent article is provided that improves adhesion to the skin and reduces leaks of bodily fluids by ensuring stable deformation thereof. The absorbent article has a liquid-permeable top sheet disposed on body-facing side of the absorbent article; a liquid-impermeable back sheet disposed on a clothing-facing side of the absorbent article; and a liquid-retainable absorbent body disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. The absorbent body has a compressed channel formed into a concave shape in the body-facing side; and a space formed into a convex shape in the clothing-facing side toward the body-facing. The space is formed on both sides or on one side of a channel backside located on an opposing side of the compressed channel portion in the clothing-facing side.

Described is an absorbent article that includes at least a liquid-permeable sheet, a liquid-impermeable sheet, and an absorption body sandwiched between the liquid-permeable sheet and the liquid-impermeable sheet. A pair of right and left compressed grooves are formed along the longitudinal direction. Each compressed groove is separated into a right or left compressed groove located in the longitudinal side edge part at least in the center region of the absorption body, a front-side compressed groove located in the longitudinal front part of the side edge part, and a rear-side compressed groove located in the longitudinal rear part of the side edge part and out of these compressed grooves. The compressed groove located on the widthwise innermost side is formed to allow its end part in the separation portion to run in parallel with the longitudinal centerline or face outwardly in the width direction.

An individually packaged product is provided with a first individual package, a second individual package and an attaching part. The first individual package includes an absorbent article and a packaging sheet that packages the absorbent article. The second individual package includes a wipe and a packaging that protects the wipe. The attaching part attaches the second individual package to the first individual package such that the attaching strength of the attaching part for the second individual package is greater than the attaching strength of the attaching part for the first individual package, and at least a portion of the attaching part remains on the second individual package side after the second individual package has been removed from the first individual package. An absorbent article comprises a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorber mounted between the top sheet and the back sheet. A heat absorbing material is provided inside the absorber, and depressions and projections are formed on that front side of the top sheet which faces the human body.

The absorbent article main body and the belt member () in the deformation region are joined together at junction portions (L,R) set apart from each other with a given spacing so as to have the center of the absorbent article main body in its width direction (WD) interposed therebetween.

To apply a clear pattern to an absorbent article such as sanitary napkin without worsening the soft and comfortable touch to skin and allowing the colorant from coming into direct contact with the skin of a wearer. An absorbent article comprising a liquid-permeable sheet, a liquid-impermeable sheet, an absorber sandwiched between the liquid-permeable sheet and the liquid-impermeable sheet, and side sheets joined to at least a part of the right and left both sides of the liquid-permeable sheet and to at least a part of the liquid-impermeable sheet, wherein a plurality of recess parts are provided in the side sheet, at least the portion provided with the recess part has a colored layer between the side sheet and the liquid-permeable sheet, and the recess part appears in a color different from the portion other than the recess part. The recess part is provided by stacking the liquid-permeable sheet, the colored layer and the side sheet in this order and applying embossing from the side sheet side to the region where the colored layer is present.

An absorbent body material article includes an absorbent article main unit, an absorbent body material included in the absorbent article main unit and including absorbent fibers and a super absorbent resin, and interspersed sections in the absorbent body material and having a longitudinal direction, a lateral direction, and a thickness direction. A densely gathered state of the absorbent fibers in each of the interspersed sections is less dense than a densely gathered state of the absorbent fibers around each of the interspersed sections. An occupied volume ratio of the super absorbent resin in the interspersed sections is greater than an occupied volume ratio of the super absorbent resin around the interspersed sections. At least one of the interspersed sections overlaps a fold line and the longitudinal direction of the at least one of the interspersed sections is aligned with the fold line.

An elongated absorbent article including: an absorbent article body having at least: (a) a top sheet part which is at least partially liquid permeable and arranged on a first side in a thickness direction of the absorbent article; and (b) a liquid retainable absorber part arranged on a second side in the thickness direction of the absorbent article body; a cover member arranged on the second side in the thickness direction of the absorbent article body; an extensible belt-shaped member disposed between the absorbent article body and the cover member, a first end portion of the belt-shaped member being connected to the absorbent article body; an engaging part arranged at a second end portion of the belt-shaped member on a surface thereof on which the cover member is disposed; a peelable sheet arranged along a surface of the engaging part; and a fixing part for connecting and fixing the peelable sheet to the cover member; the fixing part being formed so that an end portion thereof in a direction of elongation of the belt-shaped member is arranged at either one of a position corresponding to an end portion of the engaging part in the direction of elongation, and a position more towards the direction of elongation. This improves the adhesion between the wearer's excretory part and the absorbent article, thereby preventing the leakage of excrement such as menstrual blood.

An absorbent article including an absorbent article main body which is extended in a longitude direction and having a front end portion and a rear end portion, and which includes an absorber of liquid-retaining, a topsheet of liquid-permeable covering a surface of the absorber, and a backsheet of liquid-nonpermeable supporting the absorber from a back surface of the absorber, the absorbent article includes: a belt-shaped member extended in the longitude direction of the absorbent article main body, including a base end portion fixed to any one of the absorber and the backsheet and a tip portion not fixed, and being stretchable in the longitude direction; and an attaching sheet provided on a back surface of the belt-shaped member and configured to be attached to clothing, wherein the attaching sheet is extended in a width direction of the belt-shaped member and both end portions of the attaching sheet are fixed to the belt-shaped member.

An absorbent article comprising an absorbent body, wherein the absorbent body has multiple linear or curved fold regions with a flexural rigidity lower than average flexural rigidity and with a flexural rigidity lower than that in adjacent regions. Accordingly, there is provided an absorbent article that can change its morphology along the configuration of wear object. An absorbent article comprising nonwoven fabric having convex and concave surfaces, and that allows liquid such as excreta and the like to permeate quickly. A sanitary napkin has a plurality of raised ridge portions and groove portions in a top sheet member. The fiber density of the side edge portions of each of the plurality of raised ridge portions in the thickness direction of the nonwoven fabric is substantially uniform, and is higher than the average fiber density in the raised ridge portions. The fiber density of the central portion between both the side edge portions of each of the plurality of raised ridge portions is substantially uniform in the thickness direction of the nonwoven fabric, and is lower than the average fiber density in the raised ridge portions.

It is intended to provide an absorbent article provided with a composite sheet which comprises a film sheet and a fiber mass and is excellent in the ability to draw in a liquid and the ability to prevent the backward flow. Namely, an absorbent article provided with a composite sheet comprising a film sheet having multiple pores formed therein and a fiber mass laminated on one side of the film sheet, wherein the fiber mass has a projected section in which a part of the fiber mass projects through the multiple pores toward the other side of the film sheet.

An absorptive article in which an absorptive body is deformed into a stable recessed shape to prevent leakage of a large amount of discharged bodily wastes including bodily fluid. The absorptive article has a front side sheet at least a portion of which is liquid permeable and that is placed on the skin contact surface side, a liquid non-permeable back side sheet placed on the clothing contact surface side, and a liquid retainable absorptive body placed between the front side sheet and the back side sheet. The absorptive body has a compression section formed, when compressed from the clothing contact surface side to the skin contact surface side, into a projected shape projected on the clothing contact surface side, toward the skin contact surface side, and the absorptive body also has a space section formed, when compressed from the skin contact surface side to the clothing contact surface side, into a recessed shape recessed on the skin contact surface side, toward the clothing contact surface side. The space section is formed on each of both sides of or on one side of a projection section located on the opposite side of the compression section on the skin contact surface side.

Absorptive article and method of producing the same

A sanitary napkin includes a napkin body having a liquid-absorbent layer for absorbing and retaining liquid and a projection projecting from a body surface of the napkin body. The projection is secured at laterally spaced base ends to the body surface of the napkin body. A distance between the base ends varies longitudinally of the projection. A height of the projection from the body surface of the napkin body decreases with increasing the distance between the base ends.

An individual package of an absorbent article permits a base end of a tape to be bonded with sufficiently large bonding strength without complicating packaging process and increasing manufacturing cost. The absorbent article is wrapped by a package sheet having side edge portions and end edges, and one end edge is overlapped over the other end edge. The package sheet is sealed along the side edge portions, a base end of a tape is fixed on the surface of the package sheet located outside in an overlapping portion, and a free end of the tape extends across one end edge and is releasably adhered on the outer surface of the package sheet adjacent one end edge. The package sheet has a surface, on which the base end of the tape is fixed, the surface being smoothed by a smoothing process.
