The disclosure provides a method and system for measuring steering angle error of a vehicle. The method includes the following steps: a rotating step is performed first, and the rotating step is to continuously rotate the steering wheel left and right between a left position relative to the center and a right position relative to the center when the vehicle is driving. A time-series change of the steering angle of the vehicle and a time-series change of a turning radius of the vehicle in the rotating step are obtained to calculate a response delay of the turning radius. Afterwards, the correlation expression of the turning radius is calculated, and the correlation expression corrects the response delay corresponding to the steering angle at multiple time points. Based on the correlation expression, the steering angle under the condition where the turning radius is 0 is defined as the steering angle error.

Method and system for measuring steering angle error of vehicle

Tire management method

In an autonomous traveling unit, a toggle mechanism including a plurality of sliders is provided. In the plurality of sliders, cam followers are provided, respectively. Meanwhile, in a workpiece loading unit, a clamped portion is provided. As a result of the cam followers, which are displaced so as to separate away from each other, entering intersection portions of the clamped portion, the workpiece loading unit is restrained by the autonomous traveling unit.

Transport vehicle

An autonomous traveling unit is provided with a pair of toggle mechanisms. The toggle mechanisms respectively have displaceable bodies provided with cam followers. A workpiece loading unit is provided with a member in an X shape to be clamped. The cam followers are respectively advanced to a pair of opposing corners (a first crossing portion and a second crossing portion) of the member to be clamped. An actually moving state of a vehicle completed with an alignment adjustment is reproduced after the vehicle is mounted on rollers of a bench tester, and the side force of each of wheels at this time is measured, it is determined whether or not the measured side force is within a preset reference range, it is determined whether or not the side force of the wheel, which has been determined to be out of the reference range, is within the reference range when a toe angle of the wheel is corrected within a preset toe angle correction allowable range, the toe angle is corrected within the correction allowable range when it is determined that the side force falls within the reference range, and the side force is corrected to fall within the reference range, the side force of the each wheel after the toe angle is corrected is obtained, a drift amount of the vehicle is calculated from the obtained side force of the each wheel, and it is determined whether or not the vehicle has a good straight-line performance based on the calculated drift amount.

Method of adjusting straight ahead traveling capability of vehicle
