The present invention provides a numerical analysis model data generating program, method, and system for generating numerical analysis model data, which is used for numerical analysis, on the basis of three-dimensional shape data of a structure that is an object of analysis. Three-dimensional shape data defining the structure is inputted. Holes included in the inputted three-dimensional shape data are extracted, and the size of each of the holes is calculated. If the size of a given hole is smaller than a predetermined size, the hole is filled. Thus, numerical analysis model data is generated. According to the present invention, when the numerical analysis model data is generated, a relatively small amount of analysis model data can be generated without adversely affecting the accuracy in numerical analysis.

A magnetic head is composed of a write head which magnetically records information by emitting magnetic flux, which is generated by a write coil, from a magnetic pole unit to a recording medium; and a read head having a reading element which converts record magnetic flux, which is emitted from the recording medium, to an electric signal. In a write coil facing area facing an area in which the thin-film coil pattern of the write coil is disposed, a heater coil which causes a medium facing surface to protrude toward a recording medium side by thermal expansion caused by power distribution and overheating is disposed via an insulating layer. In the heater coil, a wide terminal pattern is disposed outside the write coil facing area, and a heater pattern having a width narrower than the terminal pattern is disposed in the write coil facing area.

A magnetic head structure has a coil and a magnetic pole allowing a magnetic flux generated by the coil to be transmitted therethrough and forming a magnetic gap. An insulating layer surrounds the coil, and a protective layer covers the insulating layer and the magnetic pole. The insulating layer has a volume equal to or greater than a value which is determined with respect to a thickness of the protective layer. It is preferable to increase the volume of the insulating layer as the thickness of the protective layer is made greater. By increasing the volume of the insulating layer, the protrusion of a portion of a floating surface of the magnetic head slider near the magnetic pole, toward the disk, is reduced.

Upon preparation of an analytical mesh by arranging grid lines in an analytical area to analyze prescribed physical quantities for an object composed of a plurality of parts, grid lines are first arranged at corners of the parts, and the intervals between adjacent ones of the grid lines are calculated. Based on the calculation result, the grid lines to be removed are determined, as a result of which the grid lines thus determined are removed. The shapes or sizes of the parts are changed in accordance with the removal of the grid lines.
