A load detecting device for a vehicle seat includes a supporting base adapted to be mounted on a floor of the vehicle, a plurality of load sensors arranged along a forward and backward direction of a seat for the vehicle on the supporting base, the load sensors including a load input portion, a deflection portion deflecting by a load and a deflection gauge measuring an amount of deflection, the load sensors detecting the load based on the amount of deflection measured by the deflection gauge, a connecting member connecting the load input portions, a seat supporting member connected to the connecting member and adapted to support the seat for the vehicle, the seat supporting member transmitting load to the connecting member, and a stopper preventing deformation of the connecting member in a vertical direction of the seat when load which exceeding a predetermined value is applied to the connecting member.

Load detecting device for vehicle seat

A seat apparatus for a vehicle has a load detecting device arranged between a floor-side fixing member adapted to be fixed to a floor of the vehicle and a seat-side fixing member adapted to be fixed to a seat for the vehicle and for measuring a load of an occupant seated on the seat. The load detecting device includes: a strain member; a connecting member vertically fixed to an intermediate portion of the strain member; strain gauges attached to a surface of the strain member; an upper bracket having a first and second fixed portions both fixed to the other surface of the strain member. The upper bracket further has an attachment portion connecting the first and second fixed portions and extending in a lateral direction of the seat; and an amplifier unit attached to a surface of the attachment portion of the upper bracket corresponding to the strain member so as to be coplanar with the strain member.

Seat apparatus for a vehicle

A battery positive cover () is provided for a battery terminal and a wire harness. The battery positive cover () has inclined portions () that can be pressed from an outer side of a sectionally U-shaped wire harness-mounting part () toward the inner side thereof. The inclined portions () project from opposed facing tips at an entry (B) of the wire harness-mounting part () and incline towards the inner side of the wire harness-mounting part (). A wall (C,D) of the wire harness-mounting part () can be elastically deformed from a holding position to an open position.

Battery positive cover

A seat cushion of a vehicle front seat, including a cushion panel and a cushion frame, in which the cushion panel and the cushion frame are elastically held together in close proximity to a front edge portion of the cushion panel by means of a torsion spring, and are connected together at a rear portion of the cushion panel by a pair of rear-linking members which is subjected to an urging force in a tension direction by a pair of tension springs. Thus, the seat cushion can be formed with a simplified spring arrangement, and provides easy tuning of these springs because the tension spring exhibits a linear spring characteristic. Furthermore, the seat cushion eliminates pitching because the cushion frame and the cushion panel are connected together at the rear portion thereof behind a hip point of an occupant who is seated in the front seat. Moreover, the seat cushion provides a wider space for an occupant seated in the rear of a vehicle to stretch his legs.

Seat cushion structure for use in a front seat

A seat slide adjuster includes a lower rail fixed to a vehicle floor and an upper rail slidable with respect to the upper rail. Each portions of respective rais are integrally formed so that thickness of each portions of the rails are easily selected to with stand a high load in collision. Oblique portions of the rails which are opposed to each other will be brought into contact to receive the high load.
