An electroluminescent element according to an aspect of the disclosure includes: a pair of a cathode electrode and an anode electrode; a light-emitting layer provided between the cathode electrode and the anode electrode; an electron transport layer provided between the cathode electrode and the light-emitting layer; and a hole transport layer provided between the anode electrode and the light-emitting layer. The light-emitting layer includes ZnSe-based quantum dots including ZnSe and one of the electron transport layer and the hole transport layer is composed of ZnO particles having an average particle size of 3 nm or greater and 30 nm or less.

Electroluminescent element and display device

A light-emitting device includes: an anode electrode; a cathode electrode; a plurality of light-emitting layers sandwiched between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode; and a light absorption layer disposed between the plurality of light-emitting layers and a light extraction surface, wherein the plurality of light-emitting layers include InP based quantum dots and are configured to emit at least green color of light and red color of light, and the light absorption layer selectively absorbs light at 570 to 610 nm.

A light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element that emits blue light, a Mn-activated &#x3b3;-AlON phosphor and a Eu-activated &#x3b2;-SiAlON phosphor that are excited by the blue light to emit green light, and a red phosphor that is excited by the blue light to emit red light. The weight ratio of the Mn-activated &#x3b3;-AlON phosphor to the Eu-activated &#x3b2;-SiAlON phosphor is from 20 to 75.

The present invention provides a light emitting device that makes it possible to provide an image display apparatus having a wide color reproduction range. The light emitting device includes a light emitting element that emits blue light; a Mn-activated &#x3b3;-AlON phosphor that is a green phosphor; and a Mn-activated phosphor that is a red phosphor. Lighting device with plural fluorescent materials

In a light-emitting device, a 50%-area average diameter of primary particles of a Eu-activated &#x3b2; SiAlON fluorescent material is 10 &#x3bc;m or more, a scattering probability of scattering materials at a peak wavelength of excitation light emitted from an excitation light source is 0.1 mmor more and 0.5 mmor less, and the Eu-activated &#x3b2; SiAlON fluorescent material is entrapped inside a transparent member in a dispersed state together with the scattering materials.
