An electric pump includes a housing that includes a gear chamber, a rotor chamber, and a motor chamber. The electric pump includes a first seal member, a second seal member, and a third seal member. The first seal member seals a space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber. The second seal member seals the space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber. The third seal member seals a space between the gear chamber and the motor chamber. The third seal member seals the space between the gear chamber and the motor chamber to a lesser extent than the first seal member and the second seal member seal the space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber.

A light reflection device is provided with a light source configured to emit irradiation light, a reflector configured to reflect the irradiation light emitted from the light source, a housing, and a holder attached to the housing to hold the reflector. The holder is configured to restrict a movement of the reflector and allows a size of the reflector to change in contrast with the holder. Liquid ejection head and recording apparatus

A sealing apparatus sealing a gap between two members mutually relatively rotatable about an axis in an internal combustion engine, the sealing apparatus comprises an elastic body portion. The elastic body portion is an elastic body including an annular attaching portion attached to one of the two members and centered about the axis, and a seal portion in close contact with another of the two members in a manner in which the other of the two members is slidable. The seal portion includes an annular seal lip portion centered about the axis and an annular dust lip centered about the axis on an atmospheric side on an opposite side of a sealed fluid side with respect to the seal lip portion. The seal lip portion includes a lip tip portion which is an annular projecting body projecting toward the axis and grease is applied to the seal lip portion. The grease contains at least one of a synthetic hydrocarbon oil and a mineral oil as a base oil and has a low temperature starting torque of 25 N&#xb7;cm or less at &#x2212;30&#xb0; C.

Seal ring

A seal ring capable of stably reducing a rotational torque while preventing the leakage of sealed fluid. The seal ring includes: an abutment joint part () provided at one portion in a circumferential direction thereof; a plurality of dynamic pressure generation grooves () provided at intervals in the circumferential direction on a side of a sliding surface thereof sliding on a lateral wall surface of an annular groove; and foreign matter discharging grooves () that are provided between a region in which the plurality of dynamic pressure generation grooves () is arranged and the abutment joint part () in the circumferential direction on the side of the sliding surface sliding on the lateral wall surface, and that are capable of catching foreign matter intruding from the abutment joint part () and discharging the caught foreign matter to an outside of a sliding part between the seal ring and the lateral wall surface.

A fluororubber composition comprising 1 to 100 parts by weight of a needle-like filler or fibrous filler having an average particle diameter of 5 &#x3bc;m or less, an average particle length of 40 to 60 &#x3bc;m, and an aspect ratio of 10 to 12, based on 100 parts by weight of fluororubber. A fluororubber vulcanization-molded product obtained from the fluororubber composition has resistance against deformation due to the shape effect of the filler, and thereby can suppress the deformation of the oil seal sliding surface towards the sliding direction. More specifically, the fluororubber vulcanization-molded product can achieve less friction, while maintaining sealing properties by increasing the amount of oil pumping, from the initial use of an oil seal to after the abrasion of the oil seal.

A light guide member for an object detection apparatus is devised. The object detection apparatus includes a light source unit, and a detection unit for detecting an object adhered on a surface of a light translucent member based on change of light quantity of reflection light received from the light translucent member. The light guide member includes an incident face where the light exiting from the light source unit enters; a detection face where the exiting light exits to a rear face of the light translucent member and the reflection light reflected from the light translucent member enters; an exiting face where the reflection light exits to the detection unit; and a light guiding portion through which the exiting light and the reflection light proceed. A distance measurement apparatus that measures distance to a target by irradiating the target with laser beams and detecting light reflected by the target includes a light projection unit. The present invention provides a liquid discharge head that causes less deviation in a discharge direction of a liquid from a direction orthogonal to a discharge hole surface, and a recording device using the liquid discharge head. The liquid discharge head of the present invention includes a discharge hole, a discharge hole surface having an opening of the discharge hole, a pressurizing chamber, and a flow channel connecting the discharge hole and the pressurizing chamber. The flow channel includes a nozzle part and a partial flow channel.
