An administrative controlling apparatus for elevators, for calling an elevator before a passenger's operation of a hall call button when a passenger who has come to an elevator hall is detected by passenger detection devices. The direction in which the passenger would like to go is predicted based upon the hall call and past passengers. Accordingly, the past usage is regarded as a basis for a statistical learning process. On this basis, the selection of a stand-by elevator or the selection of a tentative allocation elevator is effected. Also, a call is interrupted in accordance with the absence or presence of an elevator call.

Apparatus for controlling allocation of elevators based on learned travel direction and traffic

An apparatus for setting a control operation specification for an elevator. The apparatus includes an operation specification storage device for storing a plurality of operation specifications used to control the elevator, a setting condition storage device for storing setting conditions, a display device for displaying the operation specifications as well as the setting conditions which determine how the operation specifications can be modified, an input device for inputting a modified operation specification, and a determination device for determining whether or not the operation specification stored in the operation specification storage device can be modified to the operation specification which has been input from the input device on the basis of the setting conditions stored in the setting condition storage device and the present operation specification.

Control operation specification setting apparatus for an elevator

An apparatus for testing operation of system components such as elevator cages under group-supervision control which has a central processor and stored control programs to provide group-supervision control of elevator cages including selecting cages from among a plurality of cages, on the basis of signals from hall call buttons for calling cages and destination call buttons, and causing the selected cages to travel to destination floors. The apparatus includes programs which produce diagnostic results and are incorporated with the stored control programs for controlling and operating the system. In one embodiment, the programs direct the cages to execute test operations which simulate normal operations of the cages under group-supervision control. In a second embodiment, the programs operate during normal cage operation. In both embodiments the programs provide a conservation function which selects and holds group-supervisory predictive-information values that are used in the group-supervision control programs, a group-supervisory information actual-measurement function which measures actual values which correspond to the predictive-information values, and a predictive-information accuracy function which compares the predictive-information values and the measured actual values and diagnoses the presence of an abnormality.

Elevator testing apparatus

A hall information system for an elevator having a hall operation panel including a plurality of destination buttons corresponding to a plurality of destination floors. Hall and destination calls are registered in response to the actuation of the destination buttons so as to combine destination calls into at least one group in each of up and down directions, and a cage is then assigned to serve a particular group of destination calls. An information unit is provided in each hall providing a cage arrival display having hall lanterns and/or chimes controlled in response to each subsequent actuation of the destination button and cage assignment to indicate a change in hall and destination calls and cage arrival display.

In a supervisory system for elevators, a learning function for changing and controlling the operations of the elevators so as to be suited to the traffic conditions of a building is provided. The traffic conditions are automatically learned by taking the statistics therefor to revise the learing function program by externally applying revisional information, where alterations of the learning function program conforming to traffic conditions in the building are made possible to render the learning function flexible.

Supervisory system for elevators

In a transmission system wherein a group of parallel signals are transferred through circuit elements having a dispersion in the operating time intervals thereof, such as a bank of relays connected in parallel, a read decision signal is generated after lapse of a period of time in which the circuit elements complete the operations thereof, and the parallel signals are read on the basis of the read decision signal. Thus, even when the circuit elements of the dispersive operating time intervals are included in the transmission line of the signals and these signals can be received correctly.

An elevator supervisory-learning control apparatus for reliably predicting future elevator traffic on the basis of a learning function determined taking the statistics of past traffic conditions of an elevator over a predetermined past period of time. Future traffic is first estimated and the reliability of the estimated future traffic is calculated in accordance with the obtained learning function. Depending on the reliability level, a traffic pattern is selected so as to accurately and reliably predict future traffic of the elevator.

Elevator supervisory learning control apparatus

An apparatus for predicting a load in a car of an elevator, includes a first circuit for determining each floor getting-off proportion which indicates the ratio of the number of passengers getting off the car at each floor to the total number of passengers at that time, a second circuit for determining the number of in-car passengers to be increased in compliance with a hall call scheduled to be responded to, and a third circuit for decreasing the incremental number of passengers determined by the second circuit in accordance with the each floor getting-off proportion determined by the first circuit and for outputting the predicted in-car load calculated using the decreased number of passengers, whereby the predicted in-car load can be calculated with a small amount of data and within a short period of time.

Apparatus for predicting load in car or elevator

An improved traffic demand analyzing system is disclosed in which the past traffic demand data that have occurred during the same predetermined unit time periods as the current time period are computed so that the past data may be implemented in the group control of the elevator operation. The system comprises a unit for measuring and storing the traffic volume for a plurality of predetermined time periods up to the current time period, and a unit for preestimating the traffic volume for the near future through placing greater emphasis on the traffic volume associated with said predetermined time period nearer to the current time or through making use of only traffic values associated with a certain number predetermined time periods near to the current time.

An elevator supervision system has a microcomputer type car control connected to a load sensor for sensing a load on an associated elevator car, a microcomputer type group supervision device connected to floor pushbuttons and a clock, and a microcomputer type statistical device connected in two ways to the group supervision device which is connected in two way to the car controls, the statistical device setting a starting and an ending time of a crowded traffic pattern of the elevator cars on every day and recording them for past M days and calculating their mean values and dispersions, the group supervision device receiving data from the statistical device to cause the car controls to control the operation of the cars through associated driving controls and hoist motors.

A group supervisory control system for an elevator which statistically operates to obtain traffic data on the elevator for time zones divided in the previous operation and controls the driving operation of cars based on thus obtained statistical data and which comprises a traffic data recording circuit for recording the traffic data of the elevator for the previously divided time zones and a time zone setting device for setting time zones when a predetermined condition concerning the data recorded in the traffic data recording circuit is established.

Group supervisory control system for elevator

An elevator control system includes one elevator control for each elevator car, one group supervisory device for each floor connected in two ways to the elevator controls, a group supervisory accessory connected to group supervisory devices, and a statistical device connected to the group supervisory devices and also to the group supervisory accessory. The group supervisory accessory calculates a car suspending time interval at each of the forward floors in a direction of travel of the elevator car in accordance with a percentage getting-off or -on from the statistical device by considering car and floor calls and the number of passengers within the elevator car increased due to non-responding floor calls and also a presumed arrival time interval at each floor. The group supervisory devices receive those presumed arrival time intervals to assign the optimum elevator car to the desired floor call through an associated one of the elevator controls.

The disclosure concerns a group supervisory control system for an elevator having statistical traffic data for the elevator from a past time interval and controlling the operation of the car dependent on the statistical data wherein the system comprises an operating apparatus which detects the distinction points of the variation of the traffic data to output traffic data and time for the distinction points as statistical data.
