A stereo camera apparatus includes a housing, a first camera unit attached to the housing, a second camera unit attached to the housing, a processing device that performs image processing by using captured images acquired by capturing of the first camera unit and the second camera unit, and a circuit board on which the processing device is mounted. In the housing, a base length direction of the first camera unit and the second camera unit is a longitudinal direction, the housing and the circuit board are bonded to each other by an adhesive, and in a region in the housing, onto which the adhesive is applied, a length in the base line length direction is shorter than a length in an orthogonal direction that is a direction perpendicular to the base length direction.

Stereo camera apparatus

Provided is an imaging device capable of reliably achieving both widening an angle of view and an improvement in productivity. An imaging deviceincludes a pair of camera moduleseach including an imaging elementand a lens unit, in which optical axes OA of the lens unitsare arranged in parallel to each other. Each of the pair of camera moduleshas a configuration in which the imaging elementand the lens unitare relatively arranged such that a center C of the imaging elementis separated from the optical axis OA by the same distance in the same direction. With respect to the posture of one camera module, the other camera modulesis arranged in an inverted posture in which the other camera moduleshas rotated around a rotation axis RA along the optical axis OA. To read directions Dh, Dv in which signals are read from the imaging elementand that have been set in advance in one camera module, read directions Dh, Dv, in which signals are read from the imaging elementof the other camera module, are set to be opposite.

Imaging device

The present invention provides an in-vehicle image pickup device wherein highly accurate optical axis adjustment of an image pickup unit with respect to a housing can be performed, while suppressing precision machining of the housing as much as possible. The present invention is provided with: camera modules having a lens holder, which has the optical axis of a lens as a normal line, and which has one or more reference surfaces that are formed therein; and a housing having an insertion hole, into which the lens holder is inserted, facing surfaces facing the reference surfaces, and adhesive filling sections penetrating from the side of the facing surfaces to the reverse side of the facing surfaces.

In-vehicle image pickup device

An imaging module includes: a substrate on which an imaging element is mounted and in which a through-hole is formed; a holding section that has a support pin inserted into the through-hole in such a manner that the support pin penetrates the through-hole and that holds an optical system forming a subject image on the imaging element; and an adhesive that is provided in the through-hole and that fixes the substrate to the support pin, and at least a tip end portion of the support pin has a tapered shape from a root side of the support pin toward a tip end of the support pin.

Image pickup module and image pickup device

The present invention provides a highly reliable stereo camera in which it is possible to prevent the heat generated by an image processing element from contributing to an increase in the temperature of an image sensor, even if the stereo camera is made more compact and the heat density is thus increased inside the stereo camera. The present invention includes: a pair of image sensorsthat have respective imaging elements disposed at the same height with a space therebetween; image processing elementsthat are disposed between the image sensors and process image signals captured by the image sensors; a casingthat has the image processing elements and the image sensors incorporated therein, and in the area between the image sensors, has an inclined surface that is inclined from the image sensorsdownward toward the imaging direction of the image sensors; an airflow paththat is defined so as to extend along the inclined surface of the casingtoward the imaging direction; and heat dissipating partsthat are thermally connected to the respective image processing elementsand disposed on the inclined surface so as to face the airflow path.

Stereo camera

The present invention provides a stereo camera capable of mitigating thermal stress generated between members and reducing measurement error. In the present invention, a housing is provided with a high-rigidity support part and low-rigidity support part for supporting a circuit board, a high-rigidity support area including the high-rigidity support part, and a low-rigidity support area including the low-rigidity support part. The high-rigidity support part has greater rigidity in relation to force acting in a baseline direction (X-axis direction) following a baseline length of a pair of camera modules than the low-rigidity support part. The high-rigidity support area is provided in one location so as to be adjacent to the low-rigidity support area in the baseline direction.

Supporting housing for stereo camera and circuit board

The present invention attains a vehicular imaging device in which condensation on a lens can be actively removed using a simple structure. The vehicular imaging device according to the present invention is provided with: lenses; imaging elements on which images are formed by light that has passed through the lenses; a processing circuit substrate which processes the images captured by the imaging element; and a housing in which the processing circuit substrate is held. Heat dissipation structures which each dissipate heat generated by the processing circuit substrate are provided to the housing. The heat dissipation structures each have a heat dissipation surface along the direction toward the corresponding lens.

Vehicle-mounted image processing device

To provide a technique of eliminating condensation adhering to a vehicle inner side of the glass to improve the reliability of a vehicle-mounted optical device. A vehicle-mounted optical device includes: an imaging unit that captures an outside of a vehicle through glass mounted to the vehicle to obtain an image; a condensation detection unit that detects condensation of the glass by determining whether an image in a predetermined range of a part of the image is in a predetermined state; and a condensation removal device control processing unit that actuates a condensation removal device which removes condensation of the glass when the condensation detection unit detects the condensation.
