A relay circuit includes a relay and a current divider. The relay includes a coil and a contact. The contact is configured to switches on and off a supply of power to a load that is configured to operate with power supplied from a direct-current power supply through conduction of the coil. The current divider is connected between the contact and the load and configured to split a current supplied from the power supply to the load. The current divider incudes a resistor and a capacitor connected in series and grounded.

Relay circuit and electric junction box

A relay driver circuit is connected between an upper stage relay and a lower stage relay and is configured to be driven in response to driving of the upper relay. The relay driver circuit drives the lower stage relay. The relay driver circuit includes a semiconductor component, a control input line, a protective component, and a buffer circuit. The semiconductor component switches on and off the lower relay. The control input line is electrically connected to a control terminal of the semiconductor component. A power supply voltage is applied to the control input line via the upper stage relay. The protective component is connected in the control input line to protect the semiconductor component. The buffer circuit is connected between the protective component in the control input line and the control terminal of the semiconductor component to compensate for a voltage drop due to the protective component.

Relay driver circuit

A power supply control device includes a control unit that executes determination processing that, when an operation instruction is received from a switch input detection unit, determines, in a case in which the switch circuit is turned on, whether or not a power source voltage value will decrease to or below an acceptable voltage value on the basis of a power source voltage value obtained from a voltage detection unit and a load current value stored in a storage unit in advance; and in the determination processing, executes switch control processing which allows the switch circuit to be turned on if the power source voltage value is determined to not decrease to or below the acceptable voltage value and does not allow the switch circuit to be turned on if the power source voltage value is determined to decrease to or below the acceptable voltage value.

Power supply control device

An overcurrent protection apparatus that protects, from overcurrent, a load circuit including an electric load and wiring electrically connected with each other is provided. The overcurrent protection apparatus includes: a semiconductor switching element that is configured to control energization to the load circuit; and a breaker that stops the semiconductor switching element upon detection of abnormality of overheat or overcurrent at the semiconductor switching element, the breaker having a latch operation mode of continuously stopping the semiconductor switching element even upon cancellation of abnormality detection, and a retry operation mode of canceling stoppage of the semiconductor switching element upon the cancellation of the abnormality detection. The breaker is configured to initially operate in the latch operation mode upon the abnormality detection, and then be switched to the retry operation mode after satisfaction of a predetermined condition.

Overcurrent protection apparatus

A load drive apparatus includes: a first drive element that drives a first load; a second drive element that drives a second load; a control circuit that controls the first drive element and the second drive element; a power supply circuit that supplies electric power; and a failsafe circuit that includes an abnormality detection portion detecting whether an abnormality occurs in at least one of the control circuit and the power supply circuit, the failsafe circuit controlling the first drive element and the second drive element to drive the first load and the second load when the abnormality detection portion has detected that an abnormality occurs in at least one of the control circuit and the power supply circuit and also when the load drive apparatus receives at least one of a command directing a drive of the first load and a command directing a drive of the second load.

Load drive apparatus

An overcurrent protection circuit includes a load drive portion that drives a load based on a power supply voltage; a wire that connects the load and the load drive portion; a current detection portion that detects a load current showing a value of a current flowing through the load; a voltage detection portion; and a controller that controls the load drive portion to control a drive of the load, the controller determining an addition-and-subtraction value, controlling the load drive portion to cut off the load current, and stopping driving the load to protect a protection target from an overcurrent. The controller subtracts the integration value based on an elapsed time after cutoff of the load current. The controller controls the load drive portion to again start to drive the load, and also calculates a post-correction integration value lower than a pre-correction integration value by correcting the pre-correction integration value.
