Provided is a work tool that can work suitably in cooperation with an attachment device connected to a main body of the work tool to enhance work efficiency. The work tool includes a main body, and a control circuitconfigured to provide control over the main body. The main bodyincludes a motor, an end-bit mount portionand an end bitas a work part configured to be driven by the motorto perform a work. A dust collectoris connectable to the main bodyto assist the work. The control circuitis configured to detect whether the dust collectoris connected to the main bodyand change the control over the main bodybased on whether the connection is established or not.

To attain the object, the motor chamber to accommodate the motor equipped with the fan is communicated with the battery chamber where the battery is accommodated.
