An ultrasonic sensor in the invention includes an ultrasonic transmitter, an ultrasonic receiver, and a detector. The ultrasonic transmitter transmits pulse-shaped ultrasonic waves to a thin plate to excite the thin plate. The ultrasonic receiver receives direct waves and reflected waves among the ultrasonic waves propagating in the thin plate excited by the pulse-shaped ultrasonic waves, the direct waves propagating only in the thin plate, and the reflected waves radiating outward, then reflected by the object, and returning to the thin plate. The detector detects the object present near the thin plate on the basis of a difference between a time at which the ultrasonic receiver receives the direct waves and a time at which the ultrasonic receiver receives the reflected waves.

A current sensor includes: a housing that holds a busbar to which a current is applied and a core arranged around the busbar; a circuit board fixed to the housing in the state of being arranged to face the housing; and a detection element for detecting the current; wherein the detection element has an element main body held in the housing and plural connection terminals fixed in through-holes in the circuit board, and a plate-like member provided with guide holes in which the connection terminals are inserted and which have a diameter reduced from the side of the housing toward the side of the circuit board is provided on a surface facing the housing, of two surfaces of the circuit board.

Current sensor and manufacturing method for the same

A rotation-detecting apparatus includes a rotation-detecting device for detecting a rotation of a rotor, a rotational speed-detecting device () for detecting a rotational speed of the rotor and a transfer signal-generating device for generating a digitized transfer signal on the basis of items of transferred information. Either a pulsed first output waveform synchronized with rotation of the rotor, or a pseudo output waveform having a period independent of the period of the rotation of the rotor and having a first property that is different from that of the first output waveform, is selected on the basis of the rotational speed of the rotor. A second property of the output waveform selected is changed on the basis of the transfer signal. The output waveform of which the second property has been changed on the basis of the transfer signal is emitted.

Rotation-detecting apparatus

A rotation detecting sensor includes a magnetic element group include at least three magnetic elements each of which detects rotations of a rotary body that includes a magnetic body, output portions each for outputting a signal generated at each of the magnetic elements to an outside, and element selecting means for selecting arbitrary two magnetic elements from the magnetic element group and applying the generated signal to the two output portions.

Rotation detecting sensor

Disclosed is a rotation detecting sensor suitable for use under a vibration-abundant condition as e.g. a sensor disposed in an automobile body for detecting rotation of an engine or ABS. The sensor includes a detecting element for detecting rotation of a rotary body as a change in a magnetic flux and outputting a signal and an integrated circuit for processing the amplified signal into a pulse corresponding to the detected rotation of the rotary body. The signal processing includes an initialization such as a gain adjustment for obtaining an appropriate gain for use in the subsequent process of conversion of the amplified signal to the pulse. According to this invention, a re-initialization is effected to obtain a new initial value such as a new gain if the previously effected initialization is determined inappropriate.

An angular sensor which enables to obtain an output signal proportional to a relative rotational angle with low manufacturing cost and with miniaturized size. An angular sensor which includes a first magnet and a second magnet fixed to a rotation body, magnetic flux sensing surface is fixed to the stator to be positioned in magnetic field between the first magnet and the second magnet and perpendicular to magnetic sensing direction for sensing a magnetic flux, a magneto-electric transducer element for outputting an electric signal corresponding to a magnetic sensing direction element of the magnetic density, deflection yokes. The deflection yokes are positioned facing the magnetic flux sensing surfaces. The deflection yokes are positioned within a range of three quarters of a distance between the first magnet and the second magnet in X-axis direction and one half of a distance between the first magnet and the second magnet in Y-axis direction.

A rotation detecting device includes a rotating direction determining means for determining a rotating direction of the rotor based on a first signal and a second signal, generating a rotating direction signal based on the first signal and the second signal, and outputting a rotating direction determining signal by switching the rotating direction signal with an external switching signal wherein the pulse signal generating means generates the pulse signal in response to the rotating direction determining signal.

Rotation detecting device

A threshold value at a side of a bottom value of a sensor signal is renewed by a value calculated by multiplying a minimum value of a deviation between the bottom value and a reference value for the predetermined period of time by a ratio when the minimum value of the deviation is equal to or smaller than the threshold value. A threshold value at a side of a peak value thereof is also renewed by a value calculated by multiplying a minimum vale of a deviation between the peak value and the reference value from the predetermined period of time by a ratio when the minimum value of the deviation is equal to or smaller than the threshold value.
