A method of healing an external wound involves applying an external wound-healing agent to an external wound, or bringing the external wound-healing agent applied to a substrate into contact with an external wound, wherein the external wound-healing agent includes, as an active ingredient, at least one compound of a glycerol alkyl ester represented by defined Formula (I) or a diglycerol alkyl ester represented by defined Formula (II). In a further embodiment, the method involves bringing a fiber aggregate or a film into contact with an external wound, wherein the fiber aggregate or the film each includes a thermoplastic resin and at least one compound of the glycerol alkyl ester or the diglycerol alkyl ester.

An object of the invention is to obtain spunbonded nonwoven fabrics including thin hollow fibers which have excellent lightweight properties and uniformity as well as exhibit high strength and flexibility. An aspect of the invention is directed to a spunbonded nonwoven fabric including hollow fibers of a propylene polymer, the hollow fibers satisfying the following requirements (a) to (c): (a) the C-axis orientation is at least 0.85, (b) the average fiber diameter is 5 to 20 &#x3bc;m, and (c) the hollowness is 5 to 30%.

It is an object of the present invention to obtain crimped conjugated fibers having excellent crimp properties. The present invention provides a crimped conjugated fiber having a crimpable cross-sectional configuration, wherein a cross section of the fiber includes at least two portions: a portion (a) and a portion (b); the portion (a) includes an olefin polymer (A) and the portion (b) includes an olefin polymer (B); the olefin polymer (A) differs from the olefin polymer (B) in at least any one of Mz/Mw, melting point and MFR; and a specific fatty acid amide is added to the olefin polymer (A) and/or the olefin polymer (B). Melt-blown nonwoven fabric, and production process and apparatus for the same

The present invention provides a spunbonded non-woven fabric having excellent productivity, stretchability, touch and fuzz resistance without adhesion thereof on a roll and the like just after fiber deposition during the production. The spunbonded non-woven fabric comprises long fibers of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A) containing ethylene bisoleic acid amide and/or crosslinked organic fine particles and having a hardness of 75 to 85, and the spunbonded non-woven fabric comprises the long fibers of the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A) and long fibers of a thermoplastic resin (B) other than the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A). The present invention also provides uses thereof.

Spunbonded non-woven fabric, production process for the fabric and use thereof

A non-woven fabric laminate that is excellent in strechability, flexibility, and bulkiness, and that is less sticky and is suitable for a mechanical fastening female material. The non-woven fabric laminate includes a mixed fiber spunbonded non-woven fabric and a non-woven fabric comprising a crimped fiber that is laminated on at least one face of the mixed fiber spunbonded non-woven fabric, which includes a continuous fiber of a thermoplastic elastomer (A) in the range of 10 to 90% by weight and a continuous fiber of a thermoplastic resin (B) in the range of 90 to 10% by weight (where (A)+(B)=100% by weight). The non-woven fabric laminate can be suitably used for a sanitary material and other materials. More specifically, there can be mentioned for instance an absorbent article such as a disposable diaper and a menstrual sanitary product as a sanitary material.

A nonwoven fabric laminate possesses excellent elasticity, softness, water resistance, fuzz resistance and curl resistance, and has less stickiness. The nonwoven fabric laminate includes at least one meltblown nonwoven fabric layer and mixed-fiber spunbonded nonwoven fabric layers on both surfaces of the at least one meltblown nonwoven fabric layer, the mixed-fiber spunbonded nonwoven fabric layers each comprising mixed fibers including 10 to 90 wt % of continuous fibers of a thermoplastic elastomer (A) and 90 to 10 wt % of continuous fibers of a thermoplastic resin (B) other than the thermoplastic elastomer (A) ((A)+(B)=100 wt %).

The invention provides a method for manufacturing spun-bonded nonwoven fabrics that can reduce the diameter of a filament without decreasing productivity and can stably produce nonwoven fabrics, comprising: quenching a multiple number of continuous melt-spun filaments through spinning nozzles with quench air fed to a quenching chamber, drawing the filaments, and depositing the filaments on a moving collector surface, wherein the quench air fed to the quenching chamber is divided into at least 2 streams in vertical direction, and an air velocity of the quench air in the lowermost stream is set higher than that of the 50 quench air in the uppermost stream. The invention also provides an apparatus for manufacturing spun-bonded nonwoven fabrics, wherein quench air fed to the quenching chamber is divided into at least 2 streams in the vertical direction, wherein the velocities of the quench air are independently controllable in the respective streams.

An extensible nonwoven fabric comprises a fiber comprising at least two olefin-based polymers. These olefin-based polymers are of the same kind and have different induction periods of strain-induced crystallization as measured at the same temperature and shear strain rate. A composite nonwoven fabric of the invention comprises at least one layer comprising the extensible nonwoven fabric.
