A sensor mounting structure for an engine is provided. The sensor mounting structure offers a greater flexibility in mounting a sensor which detects an operation of an actuation member disposed at an inner wall spaced apart from an outer wall of a cylinder head of a valve gear. A sensor mounting structure for an engine includes a valve gear provided at a cylinder head and a sensor detecting an operation of the valve gear. The sensor is mounted on a sensor mounting hole formed at a head inner wall of the cylinder head covered with a cylinder head cover.

A lighting control system is provided with a blinker switch, a hazard switch, and a control circuit which controls the flashing of blinker lamps. The CPU of the control circuit, after detecting an input signal from one switch input port among a left side and a right side switch input port, determines that the hazard switch is switched on when an input signal from the other of the switch input ports is detected within a predetermined time, and determines that the blinker switch is switched on when no input signal from the other of the switch input ports is detected.

An engine controller structure for a vehicle, can include a duct cover having a box-like portion on a vehicle body front side thereof. The box-like portion can include an opening formed therein, and can be configured to have an intake duct of an engine connected thereto. The duct cover can be configured to be positioned sidewardly of an engine. An engine control unit can be disposed on the inside of the duct cover. The opening, configured to be connected to the intake duct, can be configured such that the intake duct is connected to an air cleaner box attached to a vehicle body rear side of the engine. The intake duct can shaped so as to be extended to a vehicle body front side from the air cleaner box.

A switch box includes an optical-axis-changeover switch for headlamps, an on/off-changeover switch for the headlamps and a starter switch arranged on the same operation board. A main switch can turn on and off a main electric source of an MUVin cooperation with a portable key. The switch box and the main switch are arranged on the instrument panel. The switch box is partially or fully disposed in a projective area of the steering wheel in a driver's eyesight. The starter switch is made to be of a push-type, whereas the optical-axis-changeover switch and the on/off-changeover switch for the headlamps are made to be of a seesaw-type. A segment display of a meter device includes a unit indication member for switchably indicating kilometer indication and mile indication by displaying only an arbitrary display element of a plurality of display elements arranged adjacently to each other in a horizontal direction.
