In a communication system based on OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) Reference Model, a pattern body generation circuit of a transmitting device generates and outputs a jitter test pattern body for jitter test. A selector selects an output (frame data) of a transmitting-end upper circuit during normal communication and selects an output (pattern body) of the pattern body generation circuit during jitter test. A transmitting-end MAC circuit performs transmitting-end processing of a MAC layer on the data selected by the selector to thereby obtain a MAC frame. A receiving-end MAC circuit performs receiving-end processing of a MAC layer on a received frame in MAC frame format to thereby obtain a payload. A pattern body verification circuit verifies a pattern body that is a payload obtained by the receiving-end MAC circuit during jitter test against a corresponding pattern body before transmission.

A gas dissolved water producing apparatus includes a gas dissolving section, a gas channel for guiding a gas into the dissolving section, a first water channel for guiding water into the dissolving section, a gas dissolved water discharge channel, and a second water channel for guiding the water without passing through the dissolving section. The second water channel joins the gas dissolved water discharge channel to control the solution gas dissolved in the gas dissolved water can be controlled to a prescribed level of concentration.

A clock extracting part has a first phase comparator circuit, a first up/down counter, a weighting circuit, a charge pump and a low-pass filter forming a voltage value determining part, and a voltage controlled oscillator circuit. Furthermore, a phase adjusting part has a first counter, a second counter, a second phase comparator circuit and a third up/down counter forming a phase adjusting part. In an ozonized water producing apparatus in which a pressurized ozone gas generated by an electric discharge type ozonizer is dissolved in water to be treated through a porous hollow-fiber membrane, an infinite variable-speed control type pump is provided upstream of the hollow-fiber membrane to maintain the water pressure inside the hollow fibers higher than the ozone gas pressure and to control the water pressure and flow rate, and a control mechanism is provided to control the ozone concentration in the treated water on the basis of the ozone gas concentration. Thereby treated water containing neither tiny bubbles nor impurities is obtained, and the concentration, flow rate and pressure of the treated water are controlled at constant levels.
