A stator coil including a continuous three-phase coil group the linear portions in the linear portion groups of the respective phases being arranged side by side in order in the continuous three-phase coil group, wherein in each of first slots that are every other slots from among the slots, the linear portions of a same phase are accommodated in order and stacked in a radial direction of the stator core, and in each of second slots that are every other slots different from the first slots from among the slots, the linear portions of two phases that are same as two phases of the linear portions in the first slots on opposite sides of the second slot are accommodated in a number of layers stacked, the number being equal to a number of layers stacked in the first slots, and stacked in the radial direction of the stator core.

Stator coil for eliminating torque uneveness

A stator coil includes a coil group of coils of three phases of a U-phase, a V-phase and a W-phase, each including a plurality of straight portions inserted into slots of a stator core, the coil group being folded back in a state where input terminals and midpoint terminals are closely arranged, so that forward portions and backward portions of the plurality of straight portions are laminated, and the input terminals and the midpoint terminals of the respective three-phase coils are alternately arranged in a length direction of the stator coil.

A coil-forming apparatus for forming a bare coil wire into a U-shape, the apparatus including: one bare coil-wire holding unit that winds and holds a bare coil wire; a take-up drum that includes one or a plurality of housing units that house the bare coil wire supplied from the one bare coil wire holding unit at a circumference; a cutting member that cuts the bare coil wire housed in housing units and wound around the take-up drum, at a portion of the circumference of the take-up drum; a drawing member for drawing the bare coil wire outward in a radial direction of the take-up drum after being cut by the cutting member, from a position separated from the cutting member; and a forming unit that forms the bare coil wire drawn by the drawing member into a U-shape.

Coil-forming apparatus

A coil for a rotary electric machine is mounted in a plurality of slots of a stator core having the slots in a circumferential direction. An overlapping coil-type wave winding coil constituted by a coil wire having a plurality of slot accommodating portions accommodated in the slots and a plurality of coil end portions interconnecting, in a chevron shape, the slot accommodating portions next to each other outside the slots in an axial direction of the stator core constitutes the coil. At least two layers of the coil wire are connected by a continuous wire-based connecting portion, folded back in the connecting portion, and stacked.

Coil for rotary electric machine

An alignment apparatus is configured to include an alignment mechanism. At least one of first legs or second legs of electric conductors are retained so as to be aligned in an arcuate shape or a circular shape by a plurality of holders that make up the alignment mechanism. Thereafter, the plurality of holders are rotated. Accordingly, the electric conductors, which are aligned in an arcuate or circular shape, are rotated and arranged on the same circumference. In other words, the electric conductors are aligned in an annular shape.
