An optical device () includes a joining structure in which a first conductive film () and a second conductive film () are joined to each other. The first conductive film () that constitutes the joining structure is constituted by a conductive material. The second conductive film () that constitutes the joining structure is constituted by a metal material. Apart of the second conductive film () comes into contact with the first conductive film (). A plurality of concave portions are provided in a contact surface of the second conductive film () which comes into contact with the first conductive film (). The contact surface has a surface roughness greater than a surface roughness of a non-contact surface of the second conductive film () which does not come into contact with the first conductive film ().

An optical device () includes a joining structure in which a first conductive film () and a second conductive film () are joined to each other. The second conductive film () that constitutes the joining structure is constituted by a metal material. A part of the second conductive film () comes into contact with the first conductive film (). A light emitting apparatus includes a transparent substrate made of glass material, for example, a first electrode layer formed on the substrate, a light emitting functional layer including organic material formed on the first electrode layer, a back surface electrode made of metallic material, for example, as a second electrode layer formed on the light emitting functional layer, and dot-shaped conductors arranged on the first electrode layer. The dot-shaped conductors made of low electric resistivity material are arranged at the first electrode layer. The combined resistance value of the transparent electrode and the plurality of dot-shaped conductors becomes lower than the resistance value of the transparent electrode alone. Therefore, voltage drop occurred at the transparent electrode can be effectively suppressed.

Light emitting apparatus with an organic electroluminescence cell

The light emitting apparatus includes a transparent substrate made of glass material, for example, a first electrode layer (that is, a transparent electrode made of ITO and the like) formed on the substrate, a light emitting functional layer including organic material formed on the first electrode layer, a back surface electrode made of metallic material, for example, as a second electrode layer formed on the light emitting functional layer, and dot-shaped conductors arranged on the first electrode layer in which the dot-shaped conductors are arranged so that a plurality of dot-shaped conductors are respectively arranged to the individual first electrode layer in a state that the dot-shaped conductors are separated from one another and further the dot-shaped conductors made of low electric resistivity material are arranged at the first electrode layer, the combined resistance value of the transparent electrode and the plurality of dot-shaped conductors becomes lower than the resistance value of the transparent electrode alone.

An organic electroluminescent display panel includes a substrate that includes a display panel region having a plurality of organic electroluminescent devices each including a plurality of display electrodes and an organic material layer, which are stacked, and electrically conductive connecting lines electrically connected to electrodes formed in a domain surrounding the display panel region on the substrate. The connecting lines are lower in resistance than the electrodes formed on the display panel region.
