A cooling structure of electric devices in a vehicle is structured to hold an inverter () downward of a cooling passage (), and to hold a condenser () upward of the cooling passage (). The heating value generated by the inverter () is larger than the heating value generated by the condenser ().

An attitude control system controls a seat sliding, a seat reclining, a seat vertical, a head rest, a seat belt anchor, a steering tilting, a steering telescoping and a mirror position or attitude. The system includes a master controller and a slave controller, and a key switch which provides an attitude control command is only connected to the master controller. In response to the attitude control command from the key switch, the master controller delivers an attitude control command which is then transmitted to the slave controller. In order to avoid an interference which may occur between different mechanisms, a sequence in which the attitude control takes place is automatically switched depending on the direction in which the attitude of other mechanisms is controlled or depending on the prevailing controlled status of other mechanisms.

A vehicle theft detector apparatus includes a key cylinder attached to a door or an opening/closing part, this cylinder having a built-in key switch which sends locked and unlocked signals to an alarm device and a locking device, the lead wires from this lock switch leading to the alarm device and locking device via connectors. When the key cylinder is removed for the purpose of entering the vehicle, the lead wires attached to the cylinder are pulled out from the connector and then the thief enters the vehicle, the alarm is sounded and the thief detected. The above-mentioned detector apparatus is provided with apparatus for taking up the slack in the lead wires, thus ensuring that the connector is immediately disconnected no matter how slightly the cylinder is pulled outwards.

An apparatus for automatically opening and closing a closure panel associated with an opening formed in the roof of an automobile is disclosed. The apparatus drives the closure panel for tilt open and tilt closed operation and for slide open and slide closed operation. During the sliding movement of the panel, the apparatus detects a load on a panel drive mechanism in a zone where the loads are normally low, and deenergizes the panel drive mechanism in the event of occurrence of an overload. In a zone where the loads are normally high as the panel presses against a weather strip, no deenergization of the panel drive mechanism occurs during an interval allocated for overload detection. The apparatus energizes alarm means during the time the panel is driven in the closing direction in a selected mode in order to draw the attention of a vehicle driver. For assuring the safeguard of the panel, the panel is stopped temporarily during the slide closed operation at a point which leaves a given opening.

Apparatus for automatically opening and closing an opening covering

A theft warning system for use in a vehicle, which issues a warning to protect vehicle contents when a vehicle door is opened without use of a door key. The theft warning condition is set only when all doors are closed while all the door lock devices are locked. The theft warning system generates a theft warning signal when the final open door is closed and locked without use of a door key and one of the door lock devices subsequently is unlocked without a door key.
