A data diode device with specific packet relay function () is connected between an external network and an internal network. Arithmetic operation circuits and a verification circuit are formed by loading configuration information into a configuration memory in an FPGA. Arithmetic operation circuits have the same arithmetic operation function, but are different from each other in combination of the circuit blocks. The arithmetic operation circuits are formed by combining the circuit blocks to make the maximum use of the DSP block, while the arithmetic operation circuit is formed by combining the circuit blocks other than DSP block. The arithmetic operation circuits each are configured to use a block RAM as the data hold memory, while the arithmetic operation circuit is configured to use a distributed RAM as the data hold memory. Each of the arithmetic operation circuits receives the input data, and outputs arithmetic operation result data (Vto V). A verification circuit compares the arithmetic operation result data to verify whether errors occur.

Word predictions in a message are selected or prioritized based on the recipient of the message and a previous location of use by a user. An input history is created based on messages sent to the recipient from the user at a particular location (e.g., global positioning system coordinates). As the user composes subsequent messages, a current location of the user is determined. Word predictions are performed based on a comparison of the current location to the previous locations, and based on the recipient(s). In further embodiments, location-aware spell-check functionality is provided for the messages.

Contact-specific and location-aware lexicon prediction

A local or remote server is configured to receive requests for text and other suggestions from a plurality of client applications. The local or remote server can format requests for delivery to one or more suggestion sources along with client contexts that specify client delivery, format, or other requests associated with the suggestion request. The local or remote server selects suggestion sources based on the client requests and the client contexts, and can combine suggestions returned from multiple sources as directed by client contexts. Requests associated with different clients can be directed to different suggestion sources, and user or client accepted suggestion histories can be stored for use in providing suggestions.

Embodiments are configured to provide one or more candidates based in part on an input. In an embodiment, a system includes a prediction engine which can be configured to provide one or more ranked candidates using one or more configurable data sources and/or candidate providers. Each data source can be configured to include a candidate provider to predict and return predicted candidates. The prediction engine can use a predicted candidate to rank and return a ranked candidate to a user interface, process, or other application. In one embodiment, a computing device can include and use a prediction engine which can use a customized ranking component to rank and return ranked candidates based in part on a query type. The customized ranking component can use predicted candidates provided by one or more data sources and/or candidate providers when making a ranking determination.

Predicting candidates using information sources

Context-based word prediction is provided. A software application utilizes words contained in an application document to provide context-based word prediction in the same or a related document. The software application creates an application defined data source and populates the data source with words occurring in a document. When the same or a related document is being edited via an input method, for example, typing, speech recognition, electronic handwriting, etc., a prediction engine presents candidate words from the application defined data source that match current text input, and the user may choose from the presented candidate words for automatic population into the document being edited. Information from the application defined data source may be transferred between computing devices, for example, between a mobile computing device and a desktop (non-mobile) computing device.

Context based word prediction

Embodiments are provided to predict and suggest one or more candidates. Words, acronyms, compound words, phrases, and other textual and symbolic representations can be predicted and suggested to a user as part of an input process or other user operation. In an embodiment, a number of textual candidates can be predicted based in part on user input and data stored in a store component. The number of predicted textual candidates can be suggested to a user as a number of suggested textual candidates. Embodiments enable a user to select an appropriate textual candidate from the number of suggested textual candidates, while reducing a number of associated user operations.
