A printing apparatus includes a recording head that performs printing on a printing surface of a medium, a transport portion that transports the medium in a transport direction, a medium support portion that is disposed on an upstream side in the transport direction with respect to the recording head and supports the medium, a removal portion that is disposed on the upstream side in the transport direction with respect to the recording head, and a fixing portion to which the removal portion is fixed, in which the removal portion includes a removal member that has a flexible property and comes into contact with the printing surface, and an elastic member that holds the removal member between itself and the medium support portion, and that presses the removal member.

Printing apparatus

A printing apparatus includes a transport drive roller that transports a medium, a roller support unit that supports the transport drive roller on one side in a first direction, a base member that supports the roller support unit on the one side in the first direction, and a first fulcrum portion via which the roller support unit and the base member are made to contact each other. The roller support unit is configured so as to pivot upon the first fulcrum portion about an axis oriented in the first direction.

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting unit which can eject liquid; a connection unit to which a liquid container is connected along with a movement of the liquid container which can accommodate the liquid in a connecting direction; and a position adjusting unit which can change a position of the liquid container which is connected to the connection unit in a direction which intersects the connecting direction.

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting unit which can eject liquid; a connection unit to which a liquid container which can accommodate the liquid is connected; a housing which accommodates the liquid ejecting unit and the connection unit; a housing support unit which supports the housing; and a load transmission unit which supports a protruding portion which is a part of the liquid container, and protrudes from the housing in a state of being connected to the connection unit. The load transmission unit is connected to the housing support unit in a form capable of transmitting a load which is received by the protruding portion.

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting portion capable of ejecting liquid, a casing body for accommodating the liquid ejecting portion, a liquid container which has a protruding portion exposed to the outside of the casing body and is mounted to the casing body, and a protecting portion which protects the protruding portion of the liquid container from an external force.

A transporting apparatus includes a pair of transport rollers that transport a medium along a transport path that extends in a transport direction, a medium supporting section that supports the medium at a portion downstream of the pair of transport rollers in the transport direction, a supporting projection that supports the medium at a portion downstream of the medium supporting section in the transport direction, the medium being supported at an upstream portion in the transport direction by the medium supporting section, and a guide portion that is arranged at a position downstream of the medium supporting section in the transport direction and upstream of the supporting projection in the transport direction, the guide portion forming a concavity in the transport path with respect to the medium supporting section and the supporting projection.

Transporting apparatus and recording apparatus

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting portion capable of ejecting ink, a liquid container provided with an injection port for ink, and a liquid reception portion disposed on a lower side of the injection port.

A liquid ejecting apparatus, comprising: a liquid ejecting unit which ejects a liquid onto a medium that is transported in a transport direction; a suction mechanism for sucking the medium; a medium supporting portion in which two or more suction pores for applying a suction force of the suction mechanism to the medium are provided so as to be lined up in a width direction; and a supporting member which is configured separately from the medium supporting portion, which includes rib forming portions which form ribs that can support the medium, and which is disposed on the medium supporting portion such that the rib forming portions extend in the transport direction between two of the suction pores which are lined up in the width direction.

Liquid ejecting apparatus with a configurable supporting member

A recording section is configured to perform a recording operation with respect to a recording medium. An ejector is configured to eject the recording medium transported from the recording section to the outside of the recording apparatus. The ejector is provided with a plurality of press members. A switcher selectively causes none or one of the press members to abut against the recording medium.

Recording apparatus

A discharge tray includes a guide portion that is retractable or extendable, relative to medium stacking portions, in consonance with the form of the recording media that are to be discharged. When the recording media that are to be discharged have a predetermined form, the guide portion at the medium stacking portion is prepared so as to guide a recording medium from a discharge portion to the medium stacking portion. With this arrangement, when recording media are so formed that arranging them on the medium stacking portion is difficult, the recording media can be guided from the discharge portion to the medium stacking portion, where they can be stacked accurately.

Tray and recording apparatus

A first shaft member extends in a first direction. A second shaft member extends in the first direction. A carriage body is disposed between the first shaft member and the second shaft member. A first slider comes in contact with a circumferential part of the first shaft member to allow the carriage body to slide on the first shaft member in the first direction. A second slider comes in contact with a circumferential part of the second shaft member to allow the carriage body to slide on the second shaft member in the first direction.
