A fuel evaporative emission control device including an electronic control unit that, when fuel tank inner pressure exceeds a first predetermined pressure, performs tank purge of closing a bypass valve and opening a sealing valve, discharging fuel evaporative gas inside the fuel tank into an air intake path of an engine in an operated state through a purge pipe and a vapor pipe, and treating the fuel evaporative gas, where, when tank purge is performed, if a first predetermined period of time passes after closing of the bypass valve without the fuel tank inner pressure falling to or below the first predetermined pressure, the sealing valve is closed and tank purge is stopped.

Fuel evaporative emission control device

An evaporative fuel treatment apparatus, which is loaded on a hybrid vehicle equipped with a fuel tank and a battery mounted forward of the fuel tank, has a sealing valve for sealing evaporative fuel in the fuel tank. The sealing valve is disposed between the battery and the fuel tank and is arranged above the battery. The evaporative fuel treatment apparatus can prevent fuel leakage from the sealing valve more reliably.

A display device is provided with a fuel gauge () that displays the amount of fuel remaining in a fuel tank () (remaining amount) of a hybrid vehicle () provided with an engine () that consumes fuel supplied from the fuel tank () and generates power by driving wheels () or rotating a motor (). The hybrid vehicle is provided with a non-traveling/non-power generating mode, or in other words, a fuel consumption mode or an engine maintenance mode in which the engine () is forced to run and consume fuel for purposes other than traveling or generating power. Of the fuel () displayed in the fuel gauge (), the region () corresponding to the amount of fuel consumed in the non-traveling/non-power generating mode is displayed so as to be distinguishable by color from another region ().

In a vehicle in which a muffler are arranged below a rear floor panel configuring a floor of a rear portion of a vehicle interior and on a further rear side than rear wheels in a vehicle forward/backward direction, and a battery for auxiliary machines is arranged on the further rear side than the rear wheels in the vehicle forward/backward direction and is housed in a battery housing recessed portion, a canister is arranged between the muffler and the battery for auxiliary machines in a vehicle width direction.

A canister is disposed in an underfloor regions &#x3b1; which is surrounded by a muffler arranged under a floor panel at a rear end of a vehicle body, a rear differential gear unit arranged under the floor panel at a location adjacent to the muffler in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and a rear suspension member arranged so as to cover the space between the muffler and the rear differential gear unit from the underside of the vehicle body.

A fuel tank system includes a tank that stores fuel, a leveling valve that decides a limit liquid surface, a filler pipe that is provided with a fuel filler opening to which a blocking cover is attached at an end portion of the filler pipe, a recirculation pipe that communicates with the filler pipe, a discharge passage that is connected to the leveling valve and branches to a first passage and a second passage, a seal valve, and a release valve that is connected to the tank at a position higher than the limit liquid surface and one of the recirculation pipe and the filer pipe, and is released by a pressure lower than a pressure caused by a head difference between the limit liquid surface and a liquid surface of the fuel at the fuel filler opening.
