A motor control device includes a control and computation unit, a compensation signal generation unit, an adder, and a drive unit. The control and computation unit is configured to perform computation processing based on a detected rotational position of a motor and a positional instruction, and to generate a first torque instruction signal to be used to drive the motor. The compensation signal generation unit is configured to generate a torque compensation signal to be used to compensate the first torque instruction signal. The adder is configured to add the torque compensation signal to the first torque instruction signal, and to output an acquired signal as a second torque instruction signal. The drive unit is configured to generate a drive signal to be used to power-drive winding wires of the motor based on the second torque instruction signal. The compensation signal generation unit is further configured to generate a torque compensation signal that switches to a torque compensation value having a predetermined value at a switching timing based on a timing when a rotation direction of the motor inverts.

Motor control device

An electric motor control device includes a current vector controller that follows a target command value for controlling an electric current of the motor by separating the current into a d-axis current and q-axis current orthogonal to each other. The motor control device further includes a driver for driving the motor, a phase-angle generator a phase-angle command generator for generating a phase-angle command &#x3b2;* based on difference &#x394;v* between an absolute value |v*| of a voltage command supplied from the current vector controller to the driver and a given reference value V, a d-axis current command generator for generating d-axis current command id* based on a sine value of the phase-angle command &#x3b2;*, and a q-axis current limiter for setting a limit value of q-axis current command iq* based on a cosine value of the phase-angle command &#x3b2;*. This structure allows canceling a voltage saturation, and driving the motor stably with high output around a voltage saturation region even if a target command value exceeding an output limit of the motor is input.

Electric motor control device

A motor control device according to the present invention includes a motor driving unit for driving a motor, a current vector controller, a magnetic-flux weakening current command generator, and one of a target command limiter and a q-axis current command limiter. The current vector controller controls a current of the motor by separating the current into a d-axis current and a q-axis current orthogonal to each other, in accordance with a target command value from the outside. The magnetic-flux weakening current command generator generates a d-axis current command to control the amount of the d-axis current, based on one of differences, i.e. a difference between a first predetermined reference value and the absolute value of a voltage command from the current vector controller to the motor driving unit and a difference between a second predetermined reference value and a q-axis component of the voltage command. The target command limiter sets a limit value of the target command value from the outside, based on an excessive amount of the d-axis current command over a negative upper limit.

To provide a motor control circuit that variably controls the speed of a motor, in which an appropriate control gain corresponding to the speed of the motor that is set can be automatically set. The motor control circuit includes a period error signal output means, a speed error signal output means and a gain correction means.

Motor control circuit

A phase-shift detection circuit detects a phase shift in motor driving, using pulse-shaped position detection signal Rd and measurement signal Ms. The position detection signal is based on sensor signal Hs from a position sensor disposed in a motor. The measurement signal is based on the induced voltage from windings. The phase-shift detection circuit includes a level difference calculator and a phase-shift calculator. The level difference calculator calculates a level difference between the level of measurement signal Ms at a rising timing of position detection signal Rd and the level of measurement signal Ms at a falling timing thereof. The phase-shift calculator calculates the amount of phase shifts based on the level difference.

Phase-shift detection device, motor drive device, brushless motor, and phase-shift detection method

A motor device comprising a motor, and a drive control circuit for driving and controlling the motor, in which the drive control circuit includes a control unit for generating a control signal for controlling the rotation of the motor, a drive unit for driving the motor on the basis of the control signal, and a communication unit for making serial communications via a serial communication bus for transmitting serial data. This communication unit has an address generating function for generating and setting addresses.

Motor devices, and motor driving system and integrated circuit device comprising the same

A motor drive device includes a drive controller for generating drive signal 'trq', a limiter for limiting a value of drive signal 'trq' within a range, a limit value generator for generating limit value &#x201c;lmt&#x201d;, and a drive output section for generating an energizing signal in response to an output signal from the limiter. The limit value generator generates a comparison signal by adding offset value &#x201c;ofs&#x201d; to drive signal &#x201c;trq&#x201d; and updates limit value &#x201c;lmt&#x201d; based on a size relation between a value (trq+ofs) of the comparison signal and limit value &#x201c;lmt&#x201d;.

A servo motor control apparatus has a feedback loop. When an oscillation detection signal indicates no detection of oscillation, a parameter operating section gives an updating section an operational instruction to set a control parameter in accordance with a supplied set value. When the oscillation detection signal indicates detection of oscillation, the parameter operating section gives the updating section an operational instruction to set such a control parameter as to narrow a frequency band width of the feedback loop.

Servo motor control apparatus and control method

A servo motor control apparatus having a feedback loop includes: an oscillation detecting section, which detects oscillation of the feedback loop, to output an oscillation detection signal; a parameter operating section, which gives an operational instruction to set a control parameter in the feedback loop based upon the oscillation detection signal; and an updating section, which is supplied with a set value for setting a control parameter, and sets the control parameter in the feedback loop while making an update thereon in accordance with the operational instruction given by the parameter operating section, wherein when the oscillation detection signal indicates no detection of oscillation, the parameter operating section gives the updating section an operational instruction to set a control parameter in accordance with the supplied set value, and when the oscillation detection signal indicates detection of oscillation, parameter operating section gives the updating section an operational instruction to set such a control parameter as to narrow a frequency band width of the feedback loop.

In a motor control apparatus for controlling a rotational position of a motor, a rotation detector detects the rotational position of the motor, and outputs first and second detection signals having phases corresponding to a detected rotational position of the motor and different from each other, and a position detecting circuit detects a rotational position in a unit which is less than one cycle of the first and second detection signals based on the first and second detection signals, and outputs a rotational position signal representing a detected rotational position. Further, a motor controller compares the rotational position signal with a reference position signal representing a reference rotational position of the motor to obtain a position error, and controls the rotational position of the motor so that the position error is minimized.
