To provide a 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition not only exhibiting an excellent adhesion rate to a metal and a thermoplastic elastomer low in polarity, but also being excellent in storage stability. A 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition containing a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester, and a compound having a sulfur atom-containing heteroallene structure.

2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition

The two-part curable composition has excellent curability, and exhibits flexibility and adhesion durability. The two-part curable composition includes a first reagent containing at least a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester and a second reagent containing at least a polymer having a hydrolyzable silyl group, in which an elastomer and a curing catalyst for the above polymer are each contained in at least one of the first and second reagents in predetermined amounts. A preferable curing catalyst is a compound having a metal element and an organic group bonded to the metal element via oxygen, or an acid having a pKa of 4 or lower at 25&#xb0; C. Preferably, a curing accelerator for 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester is contained in at least one of the first and second reagents.

Two-part curable composition

Provided is a curable resin composition which exhibits excellent curability and is good in storage stability. The curable resin composition comprises (a) a polymer having a hydrolyzable silyl group, (b) an acid catalyst, and (c) an onium salt represented by the following general formula (1):CA&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)

Curable resin composition

An adhesive composition is provided which is excellent in adhesion rate on non-polar hard-to-bond materials and bond gap curability, and further is good in storage stability. It is a 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition which includes (a) a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester and (b) an onium salt represented by the following general formula (1):CA-X&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)wherein, in formula (1), Crepresents an onium cation, Arepresents at least one anion selected from the group consisting of &#x2014;SO, &#x2014;OSOand a specific imide anion, X represents a linking group which connects at least two anions together, and n is an integer of 2 or more.

2-cyanoacrylate adhesive composition

An adhesive composition is provided which exhibits an excellent adhesion rate on metals and low-polarity thermoplastic elastomers, and is excellent in appearance with no clouding of hardened bodies and is good in storage stability. It is a 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition which includes (a) a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester and (b) an onium salt represented by the general formula: CA(1) where, in formula (1), Crepresents an onium cation, and Arepresents a bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide anion.

An curable adhesive composition that can form a cured product exhibiting high shear adhesion strength, peel adhesion strength and impact adhesion strength and exhibiting, in particular, excellent cold/hot cycle resistance of adhesion strength, includes (a) a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester, (b) a high molecular-weight component, such as a polymer, compatible with the 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester, (c) a multifunctional 2-cyano-3-vinylacrylic acid ester, and (d) an onium salt represented by the following general formula (1):CA&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)wherein Crepresents an onium cation, Arepresents an anion such provided that the anion does not substantially initiate polymerization of the 2-cyanoacrylic acid, in which the curable adhesive contains components (b)-(d) in predetermined amounts relative to 100 parts by mass of the component (a).

Adhesive composition

A 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition includes a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester (a) and an onium salt (b) represented by general formula CA. In the formula, Cis an onium cation, and Ais a hydrogen sulfate anion, bisulfite anion, sulfonate anion represented by RSO(where Ris an alkyl group, perfluoroalkyl group having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl group, vinyl group, aryl group, perfluoroaryl group, aralkyl group, or halogen atom), or bis(substituted sulfonyl)imide anion represented by (RSO)N(where Ris an alkyl group, perfluoroalkyl group, or aryl group).) The 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition has good storage stability and has an excellent adhesion rate to metals and thermoplastic elastomers.

An adhesive composition is provided particularly excellent in thermal shock resistance for adhesive strength as well as high shear adhesive strength, peel adhesive strength and impact adhesive strength. The adhesive composition of the present invention contains (a) a 2-cyanoacrylate such as 2-ethoxyethyl 2-cyanoacrylate and (b) a polyfunctional cyanoacrylate having two or more 2-cyanoacryloyl groups, the number average molecular weight of the polyfunctional cyanoacrylate (b) is in the range from 1,000 to 50,000, and preferably from 2,000 to 30,000, and the content of the polyfunctional cyanoacrylate (b) is in the range from 1 to 400 parts by weight, and preferably from 1 to 200 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the 2-cyanoacrylate (a).
