A link assembly includes a first member, a second member opposing the first member and being rotatable around a rotating shaft, a seal housing formed between the first and second members, and a seal assembly disposed inside the seal housing. The seal assembly has a seal ring and a load ring. The seal ring has a support ring and a lip ring. The seal ring is disposed between the first member and the load ring. The load ring is disposed between the seal ring and the second member. The lip ring abuts the load ring. The lip ring has a first lip part that abuts the first member and protrudes in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, and a second lip part that abuts the second member and protrudes in a radial direction perpendicular to the rotating shaft.

Link assembly and seal assembly

With an idler, a first member includes a first boss portion, a first rim portion, and a side plate. A second member includes a second boss portion, a second rim portion, and a side plate. A third member includes a third boss portion having a third axle hole portion configured to allow insertion of an axle. The third boss portion is disposed between the first boss portion and the second boss portion. A first welded portion is formed between the second boss portion and the third boss portion and connects the second and third boss portions. A second welded portion is formed between the first boss portion and the third boss portion and connects the first and third boss portions. An idler wheel includes a disk shaped idler body, and a plurality of wear plate assemblies disposed to encircle a circumferential surface of the idler body. Each wear plate assembly includes a first wear plate and a second wear plate. The first and second wear plates are adjacent to each other. Each of the first and second wear plates includes a first crawler belt contact surface and a second crawler belt contact surface. Each of the first wear plates includes a first end part that defines an end on a second wear plate side of the first crawler belt contact surface as seen in a plan view, and a second end part that defines an end on the second wear plate side of the second crawler belt contact surface as seen in the plan view. The first end part is inclined with respect to an axial direction.

Idler wheel, crawler-type travel device, and wear plate

An idler wheel includes a disk shaped idler body, and a plurality of wear plate assemblies disposed to encircle a circumferential surface of the idler body. Each of the wear plate assemblies has an arc shaped wear plate disposed on the circumferential surface of the idler body, a first fixing member fixing the wear plate to the idler body, and a first fastening tool fastening the first fixing member to the idler body. Each wear plate has a crawler belt contact surface, a guide part protruding from the crawler belt contact surface to guide a crawler belt on the crawler belt contact surface, a first abutting surface abutting the idler body and being perpendicular to an axial direction, and a second abutting surface abutting the idler body and being perpendicular to the axial direction. The first abutting surface faces the second abutting surface in the axial direction.

Idler wheel and crawler-type travel device

A crawler belt and a master link for use in the crawler belt enable easy connection and disconnection of the crawler belt. The crawler belt has a track chain in which a plurality of regular links are pivotally connected at their ends, the master link for connecting the of the track chain to form the crawler belt into a loop, and track shoes attached to the regular links and the master link respectively. The crawler belt has a slit aperture which leads only to a pin insertion hole formed at the other end of the master link and is configured such that a clamping force, generated by tightening a master bolt that imparts a tightening force to the master link to narrow the slit aperture, is allowed to work on only the regular pin inserted into a pin insertion hole leading to the slit aperture.

A crawler belt link includes a center portion, one end portion located on one end side of the center portion, and the other end portion located on the other end side of the center portion. In a second surface, the center portion has a first portion of a rail surface, the one end portion has a second portion of the rail surface, and the other end portion has a third portion of the rail surface. A first outer circumferential portion reaching the second portion of the rail surface is located closer to a second side portion with respect to a bushing hole surrounding portion. Accordingly, a crawler belt link and a crawler belt apparatus can be implemented, by which wear of the rail surface above a bushing hole can be suppressed while maintaining the width of the crawler belt link to be relatively small.

A crawler belt and a master link for use in the crawler belt enable easy connection and disconnection of the crawler belt. The crawler belt has a track chain in which a plurality of regular links are pivotally connected at their ends, the master link for connecting the ends of the track chain to form the crawler belt into a loop, and track shoes attached to the regular links and the master link respectively. A wear amount measuring device includes an image display unit, an image processing unit, and a wear amount computing unit. The image display unit displays a real object image based on real object image data containing a wear amount measurement target and a reference part, and displays a plan image based on design plan data containing the wear amount measurement target and the reference part. The image processing unit executes an image processing of overlapping the real object image and the plan image at an equal scale on a corresponding positional relation when the reference parts are matched. The wear amount computing unit computes a wear amount based on a magnitude of an interval between a measurement contour line drawn along a contour of the wear amount measurement target in the real object image and a plan contour line in the plan image.

To provide a crawler bushing and a crawler link device that can maintain a sealing function stably on a long-term basis and permits easy maintenance for recovery of the sealing function. The bushing includes: crawler bushing body () including large-diameter cylindrical part () defining an intermediate section along axis (O) and small-diameter cylindrical part () which defines an end section along axis (O) and is smaller in diameter than large-diameter cylindrical part (); elastic ring () mounted to an outer periphery of small-diameter cylindrical part (); seal ring () which is formed with seal contact end face () at its outer end and coupled to small-diameter cylindrical part () through elastic ring (); reverse tapered surface () and mountain-shaped projection () for preventing outward movement of elastic ring () along axis (O) of small-diameter cylindrical part (); and tongue-shaped projection () and reverse tapered surface () for preventing outward movement of seal ring () along axis (O) of small-diameter cylindrical part ().

Crawler bushing and crawler link device

A roller unit is provided which includes: (i) a roller configured to roll in contact with a crawler belt; (ii) a roller shaft for rotatably supporting the roller; (iii) a seal fit in an annular space defined between the roller and the roller shaft, wherein the seal is formed such that an inner circumference side sealing portion located on an inner circumference side and an outer circumference side sealing portion located on an outer circumference side and press-fit in the roller are fit together so as to come into slidable contact with each other; and (iv) a collar mounted to the roller shaft, wherein the collar has a boss portion onto which the inner circumference side sealing portion is pressed and a flange portion disposed on an atmosphere side of the inner circumference side sealing portion. A gap is formed between an end face of the outer circumference side sealing portion and the flange portion and the flange portion is provided with a circumferentially extending groove formed on a side opposed to the outer circumference side sealing portion. The outer circumference side sealing portion is disposed so as to enclose the inner circumference side sealing portion, and the flange portion is brought into contact with an end face of the inner circumference side sealing portion located on the atmosphere side of the inner circumference side sealing portion.

Roller unit

In a travelling crawler belt in which a pair of left and right links are connected by pins respectively press-fitted into the corresponding links, a fixing end surface of the pin or the links is continuously and locally pressed and deformed in an axial direction of the pin from the fixing end surface, along an inner or outer peripheral portion of an opening of a pin-press-fit hole. Then, a part of the opening peripheral portion of the end of the pin or the link is enlarged or reduced in diameter, so that the diametrically increased or reduced portion is retained and fixed to a mating retaining space. With this fixing method, it is possible to easily and strongly couple the links and the pin, and to obtain a fixing structure of the links and the pin for a crawler belt capable of sufficiently securing a holding force of the pin in the axial direction. When the pin is fixed at the time of the assembling of the pin, an existing press can be used without requiring any exclusive machine, and it is possible to easily and reliably assemble the links and the pin for the crawler belt.

Fixing structure of link and pin of travelling crawler belt, and fixing method thereof
