In a mobile phone of the present invention, de-spread circuits execute de-spread processing for receiving signals, and rake combines compose a plurality of information in the outputs of the de-spread circuits in correspondence to base stations, and calculate receiving levels of power control signals in individual channels in correspondence to the base stations to output the power control signals each having receiving level information to a comparator. The comparator outputs only the power control signal having the receiving level lying within a predetermined range from a maximum receiving level of the receiving levels of the power control signals from among the plurality of base stations to a decision circuit. The decision circuit decides based on the power control signal from the comparator whether a transmission power from the mobile phone should be increased or decreased to control the transmission power of a transmitter circuit, thereby preventing misrecognition of the power control signal.

In a notification system for communicating between a sender cellular phone possessed by a sending person and a receiver cellular phone possessed by a receiving person, the sender cellular phone, which is possessed by the sending person who wants to communicate with the receiving person, is allowed to transmit an ON state indication signal indicating to switch a main power source to be in an ON state through a radio wave to the receiver cellular phone being in an OFF state. Thus, a main power source of the receiver cellular phone can be remotely turned ON.

A light detection device for detecting an optical path position of invisible light. The detection device includes a main body and a light guide. The light guide includes a distal end functioning as a light incident portion through which the detected light enters and a light radiation portion from which visible light is emitted. A drive mechanism reciprocates the light guide in an X-direction while vibrating the light guide in a perpendicular Y-direction. The distal end of the light guide rod moves within a light detection area in an XY plane. A visible light-emitting unit radiates visible light from the distal end when the detected light enters the distal end. The visible light-emitting unit includes a photo-detector for detecting the detected light and a light-emitting element for generating the visible light when the photo-detector detects the detected light.

Light detection device

A light beam detection device includes a light-receiving element for receiving a light beam and outputting a detection signal. A light detection circuit generates and outputs a light-emission signal based on the detection signal. A light-emitting element emits light based on the light-emission signal. The light-receiving element and the light-emitting element are arranged on a detection member. A supporting member supports the detection member. A driving device moves the supporting member in a reciprocative manner in an X axis direction and a Y axis direction to form a detection region with the detection member. The light-emitting means forms an afterimage on the detection region when the light beam irradiates the detection region.
