A control system for a diesel engine including a turbocharger and a supercharger as superchargers, includes: a clutch control unit for switching a state of engagement or disengagement of a clutch interposed between the supercharger and a drive shaft of the engine; a fuel injection period control unit for controlling a fuel injection period with respect to the engine based on first association information in which a rotation speed of the engine, an accelerator position, and the fuel injection period are associated with each other in advance; and a fuel injection start timing control unit for controlling a fuel injection start timing with respect to the engine. An engine according to an embodiment includes at least one cylinder, at least one piston disposed in the at least one cylinder, a plurality of fuel injection valves disposed on the at least one cylinder, the plurality of fuel injection valves including a first fuel injection valve having a predetermined total hole area and a second fuel injection valve having a total hole area smaller than the total hole area of the first fuel injection valve, and a control device for controlling the first fuel injection valve and the second fuel injection valve according to a load of the engine.

A fuel injection control device according to an embodiment is a device for controlling fuel injection performed by a fuel injection device disposed in a cylinder of a two-stroke engine, comprising: a scavenging and exhaust gas state quantity acquisition part configured to acquire a parameter related to a state quantity of scavenging and exhaust gas in the cylinder; a swirl momentum calculation part configured to calculate a momentum of swirl generated in the cylinder on the basis of the parameter; and a fuel injection pressure calculation part configured to calculate an injection pressure of fuel from the fuel injection device corresponding to the momentum of swirl calculated by the swirl momentum calculation part.

Fuel injection control device

An opposed-piston engine according to an embodiment is a first fuel injection device configured to inject fuel from a circumferential wall surface of at least one cylinder into the cylinder, and a second fuel injection device disposed to be displaced in a circumferential direction so as to be opposite to the first fuel injection device across an axial center of the cylinder. Each of the first fuel injection device and the second fuel injection device includes a plurality of injection holes having different injection directions, in a cross-section orthogonal to the axial direction. A direction directed by a first downstream injection hole is configured to pass through a second injection region, and a direction directed by a second downstream injection hole is configured to pass through a first injection region.

Remote operating system

A powder detector includes a driver to drive a motor, a stirrer to stir powder in a vessel, a vibration plate disposed in the vessel and vibrated by a flip of the stirrer rotated by the motor, and circuitry. The circuitry detects a vibration of the vibration plate, estimates an amount of powder based on a detection result of the vibration, and causes the driver to drive the motor from a starting point, so as to move the stirrer to a preset halt position. The starting point is a rotation angle of the motor on detection of the vibration.

The plurality of modules include a plurality of direct current (DC) modules and at least one alternating current (AC) module, and the modules are to be driven by an electric power supplied from the electric power supply. The startup time calculator calculates a startup time of each of the modules. The fastest startup pattern determiner determines a fastest startup pattern based on the startup time of each of the modules calculated by the startup time calculator, and starts up the modules in accordance with the determined fastest startup pattern. The fastest startup pattern is determined based on a longest startup time among the startup times of the DC and AC modules.
