According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first line which is arranged across a display portion, and includes a first end portion and a second end portion located at a non-display portion such that the display portion is located between the first and second end portions, a first switch electrically connected to the first end portion, a second switch electrically connected to the second end portion, a first terminal electrically connected to the first end portion via the first switch, and a second terminal electrically connected to the second end portion via the second switch.

A display device includes wires that are coupled to driver terminals that are able to be coupled to a driver integrated circuit (IC) and that are provided along a first direction and extending so as to spread toward outsides in the first direction as the wires are directed toward a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; and dummy wires that are provided along the wires on one outside and another outside in the first direction of the wires and that are not coupled to the driver terminals and the wires, wherein a number of the dummy wires on the one outside and a number of the dummy wires on the other outside are respectively three or more, the dummy wires extend in parallel with the wires, and a width of the dummy wire is equal to a width of the wire.

Display device and method of inspection

A display device includes signal lines, first driver terminals that are provided in a first peripheral region and to which a first driver IC can be coupled, second driver terminals to which a second driver IC can be coupled, a plurality of inspection terminals provided in the first peripheral region, first inspection switches coupled to the first driver terminals and configured to be capable of switching coupling and interruption of the inspection terminals and the signal lines, and second inspection switches coupled to the second driver terminals and configured to be capable of switching coupling and interruption of the inspection terminals and the signal lines.

According to an aspect, a display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a display region in which a plurality of pixels are provided; a peripheral region positioned between an edge of the first substrate and the display region; a plurality of scanning lines extending in a first direction; a plurality of signal lines extending in a second direction; a plurality of terminals arranged in the first direction in the peripheral region of the first substrate; a plurality of connection lines that connect the terminals and the signal lines; a plurality of spacers provided between the first substrate and the second substrate in a direction perpendicular to the first substrate; and a plurality of dummy electrodes separated from the connection lines in planar view and provided between the first substrate and the spacers in the direction perpendicular to the first substrate.

A liquid crystal device including a plurality of scanning lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of pixel electrodes, a capacitor electrode, a control circuit, a scanning line driving circuit, and a data line driving circuit.
