A driver includes: a first motor located so as to rotate a driving shaft; a second motor located so as to rotate the driving shaft; and circuitry. The circuitry performs control while switching between a dual mode and a single mode. In the dual mode, the circuitry drives the first motor and the second motor together. In the single mode, the circuitry drives a drive target motor that is one of the first motor and the second motor and performs such control as to set one or more among a rotational speed, rotation acceleration, and rotation deceleration of the drive target motor to be lower than that or those in the dual mode.

Driver and carrier

A double-action friction stir joining system, which includes a double-action friction stir joining device, a cleaning mechanism having a dressing member, a robot, and a control device. The double-action friction stir joining device includes a first rotary driver configured to rotate a pin member and a shoulder member, and a tool driver configured to reciprocate the pin member and the shoulder member. The control device is adapted to (A) operate the tool driver so that the pin member is thrusted into the shoulder member, (B) operate the first rotary driver so that the shoulder member rotates, and (C) operate the robot so that the robot holds the double-action friction stir joining device and the dressing member contacts an inner circumferential surface of the shoulder member.

Double-action friction-stir joining system and method utilizing a cleaning mechanism

A slewing-type working machine includes: a slewing motor which is a hydraulic motor for slewing; a variable-displacement hydraulic pump; a slewing operation device including an operation member; a control valve controlling the slewing motor based on an operation signal thereof; a pump regulator; a relief valve letting excess fluid to a tank; operation detectors detecting an operation direction and amount of the operation member; a motor rotational speed detector; and a controller controlling a discharge flow rate of the hydraulic pump. The controller obtains a deviation between a target rotational speed of the slewing motor obtained from a slewing operation amount and an actual rotational speed detected by the motor rotational speed detector, and controls the discharge flow rate to make the deviation closer to 0.
