A sealing device includes a metal core configured to be attached to a stationary member of a bearing mechanism, an annular slinger configured to be attached to a rotary member of the bearing mechanism, a seal member attached to the metal core, and a discharge body. The discharge body includes a base having discharge holes, an attachment that is continuous with the base and attached to the slinger, and fins protruding from the base. The discharge body is configured to be rotated together with the slinger. A communication space surrounded by the slinger and the seal member is configured to communicate with an external space of the bearing mechanism via an opening. At least the fins of the discharge body are positioned in the communication space. When the rotary member rotates, an inflow flowed into the communication space is moved by the fins toward the external space.

Sealing device

A fuel storage device includes a fuel tank, a circulation passage, a canister, a vapor passage, and an adjuster. The fuel tank is configured to store fuel. The circulation passage fluidly connects the fuel tank and a vicinity of a fuel supply port. The canister is configured to recover gas generated in the fuel tank. The vapor passage fluidly connects the fuel tank and the canister. The adjuster is configured to adjust a circulation flow rate of the gas flowing through the circulation passage in supply of the fuel, using a negative pressure.

An evaporated fuel processing apparatus includes: a fuel tank that stores fuel supplied to an engine; a purge pipe that communicates an upper space in the fuel tank with an inlet system of the engine; an electromagnetic valve that is mounted on the purge pipe and that opens and closes the purge pipe; an air-fuel ratio detecting module for detecting an air-fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture burned in the engine in accordance with an oxygen concentration in exhaust gas emitted from the engine; and a controlling module for controlling open and close of the electromagnetic valve based on an operating state of the engine. The controller controls at least one of a valve-open cycle, a valve-open period, and a valve-open amount of the electromagnetic valve based on a variation value of the air-fuel ratio detected by the air-fuel ratio detecting module when opening the electromagnetic valve.

Recording medium for printer

In a recording medium for a printer having a dye fixation layer mainly composed of an interlayer compound for receiving and holding a water-soluble dye by an intercalation reaction, and a binder, the ink is to be improved in ink absorption, fixation, water-proofness and bleeding characteristics to enable image formation to a high resolution. A dye fixation layer mainly composed of an interlayer compound for fixing and holding the water-soluble dye by the intercalation reaction derived from the ion exchange action and the binder is formed as an outermost layer on a substrate The binder of the dye fixation layer contains the urethanated polyvinyl alcohol resin having an urethanation ratio of 1 to 20 mol %.

A printing device, in which a vaporizable dye is thermally transcribed onto a receptor layer provided as an upper layer of a photographic paper base, with a light radiating body for whitening a color hue of a light absorbing agent of a light absorbing layer provided between a photographic paper base and a receptor layer.

Printing device and photographic paper

Color images with high fixation comparable to that of silver salt photographic images are formed on printing papers, using aqueous ink compositions by ink jet recording. Color images thus formed have high saturation and high resolution. An intercalated compound capable of fixing water-soluble dyes to a printing paper due to the intercalation based on ion-exchanging between them is incorporated into the dye-receiving layer,of the paper, on which color images are formed by ink jet recording using an aqueous ink composition containing a water-soluble dye. The content of the intercalated compound in the layer,is from 10 to 90% by weight. As the intercalated compound, montmorillonoids are preferred when water-soluble cationic dyes are used while hydrotalcite-group minerals are preferred when water-soluble anionic dyes are used. A printing device according to the present invention includes a dye tank for containing a powdered vaporizable dye, an entrance section for liquefying the powdered vaporizable dye and a vaporizing section for radiating a laser light beam onto the liquefied dye transported to it by the entrance section for vaporizing the liquefied dye for thermal transcription of the vaporized dye onto a photographic paper. In this manner, printing may be made without employing an ink ribbon or a thermal head and hence the saving in power and the reduction in size and costs of the printing device may be achieved. Besides, the printing time may be shortened, while the size of the printing paper, may be set freely. A photographic paper according to the present invention includes a light absorbing layer between a receptor layer and a photographic paper base. Since the light absorbing layer is capable of absorbing the light efficiently for evolving heat efficiently, the receptor layer may be heated directly to assure a high quality of the printed picture.

An intercalated compound capable of fixing water-soluble dyes to a printing paper due to the intercalation based on ion-exchanging between them is incorporated into the dye-receiving layer 2 of the paper, on which color images are formed by ink jet recording using an aqueous ink composition containing a water-soluble dye. The content of the intercalated compound in the layer 2 is from 10 to 90% by weight. As the intercalated compound, montmorillonoids are preferred when water-soluble cationic dyes are used while hydrotalcite-group minerals are preferred when water-soluble anionic dyes are used.

Printing paper, dye-receiving layer forming composition for preparing

The present invention provides a pigment ink which can be produced through a simplified procedure and enables coloring as good as a dye ink. The pigment ink mainly consists of an intercalation compound such as a mineral of the montmorrilonite group and the hydrotalcite group, wherein at least a part of interstitial ions in the intercalation compound is substituted by dye ions having a polarity opposite to that of the interstitial ions. The pigment is dispersed in water together with a dispersion agent and a wetting agent so as to obtain the pigment ink. Remaining interstitial ions not substituted by the dye ions are substituted by hydrophilic ions.

Pigment and pigment ink by applying the pigment

A printing apparatus in which metered amounts of an ink and a diluting solution are mixed and the resulting mixed liquid is ejected to a recording medium for printing. Specifically, the ink and the dilution liquid at least containing a water-soluble organic solvent are mixed together in respective metered amounts and the resulting liquid mixture is ejected to the recording medium. The water-soluble organic solvent desirably contains the aliphatic monohydric alcohol, a polyhydric alcohol or its derivatives. The dilution liquid may contain a non-water-soluble organic solvent or a dispersion medium composed of water and a non-water-soluble resin. An OH-group containing resin and a cross-linking agent are desirably contained in the non-water-soluble resin. Ink fixing properties for a picture recorded by discharging the liquid mixture of the ink and the dilution liquid may be improved, while suppression of bleeding in the picture and improved discharging stability are also achieved.

Printing apparatus and recording solution

The present invention provides a water-based ink composition in which the wettability, surface tension, antibacterial properties, and other properties are controlled based on a simple formulation. The water-based ink composition of the present invention contains a semi-polar boron compound. Semi-polar boron compounds represented by diglycerin borate exhibit superior wettability in an ordinary environment, and addition of such a compound achieves a water-based ink composition well-balanced in surface tension, wettability, and drying property even if the composition is prepared according to a simple formulation. The optimum quantitative range for addition of the semi-polar boron compound depends on whether the coloring material contained in the watercolor ink composition is a dyestuff or a pigment. When the coloring material is a dyestuff, the quantitative range is preferably 0.5 to 3.0% by weight relative to the entire quantity of the water-based ink composition. When the coloring material is a pigment, the quantitative range is preferably 0.05 to 10% by weight relative to the same.
