A mechatronic module includes: a hybrid circuit arrangement having at least one interrupter, which interrupter includes at least one first mechanical switch and at least one first semiconductor circuit arrangement. The hybrid circuit arrangement is situated on a first face of a ceramic substrate, a second face, opposite the first face, of the ceramic substrate being connected to a metal plate. A housing shell is fastened to the metal plate and encloses the ceramic substrate and the hybrid circuit arrangement. The metal plate and the housing shell form a housing of the mechatronic module. Interstices within the housing are filled at least in some regions with a potting compound.

Mechatronic module having a hybrid circuit arrangement

An AC/DC converter includes an AC circuit breaker, configured as a hybrid circuit or semiconductor circuit breaker; a rectifier; a smoothing capacitor; a semiconductor switch connected in series with the smoothing capacitor; and a first isolation relay for galvanic isolation. One input of the AC circuit breaker forms an AC input of the converter. One output of the AC circuit breaker is connected with an input of the rectifier. The smoothing capacitor, and the first semiconductor switch, connect a first output of the rectifier with its second output. The first output of the rectifier is connected with one input of the first isolation relay. The one output of the first isolation relay forms a first DC output of the AC/DC converter. The AC circuit breaker, the first semiconductor switch, and the first isolation relay are interconnected.

Electrical AC/DC conversion arrangement

A low-voltage protection switch unit, such as a motor protection switch, includes: at least an external conductor line, from an external line supply terminal of the low-voltage protection switch unit to an external line load terminal of the low-voltage protection switch unit; a neutral conductor line, from a neutral conductor terminal of the low-voltage protection switch unit to a neutral conductor load terminal of the low-voltage protection switch unit; a mechanical bypass switch arranged in the external conductor line; a semiconductor circuit arrangement connected in parallel with the mechanical bypass switch; an electronic control unit for actuating the mechanical bypass switch and the semiconductor circuit arrangement in a specifiable manner; and a current measurement arrangement connected to the electronic control unit, the current measurement arrangement being arranged at least in the external conductor line. The electronic control unit switches the semiconductor circuit arrangement on/off in a specifiable clocked manner.

Low-voltage protection switch unit

A photovoltaic string combiner box with protection functions includes: a plurality of input connections for connecting a plurality of photovoltaic strings to the combiner box, the plurality of input connections respectively including a first input terminal and a second input terminal; an output connection for connecting an inverter to the combiner box; a plurality of current lines, a respective one of the current lines being connected to a respective one of the input connections; a plurality of controllable switches being connected to the plurality of input connections for short-circuiting a respective one of the first and second input terminals; a plurality of disconnectors; a common current line connected to the output connection and having an input node connected to each of the plurality of current lines by a respective one of the disconnectors; and a controllable network arranged in the common current line between the output connection and input node.

Photovoltaic string combiner box with protection functions

A circuit breaker includes: at least one external conductor section from an external conductor supply connection in the circuit breaker to an external conductor load connection in the circuit breaker; and a neutral conductor section from a neutral conductor connection in the circuit breaker to a neutral conductor connection in the circuit breaker. The at least one external conductor section includes a mechanical bypass switch and a first mechanical isolating switch which are serially arranged. A second mechanical isolating switch is arranged in the neutral conductor section. A semiconductor circuit arrangement in the circuit breaker is connected in parallel to the bypass switch. A current measuring device is arranged in the at least one external conductor section that is linked to an electronic control unit in the circuit breaker. The electronic control unit operates the bypass switch, the first and second mechanical isolating switches, and the semiconductor circuit arrangement.

Circuit breaker

A low-voltage circuit breaker includes: at least one external conductor section of an external conductor power terminal of the low-voltage circuit breaker connected to an external conductor load terminal of the low-voltage circuit breaker; and a neutral conductor section of a neutral conductor connection of the low-voltage circuit breaker connected to a neutral conductor load terminal of the low-voltage circuit breaker. A mechanical bypass switch is arranged in the at least one external conductor section. A semiconductor circuit arrangement of the low-voltage circuit breaker is switched parallel to the bypass switch. A first current measuring arrangement is arranged in the at least one external conductor section, which is connected to an electronic control unit of the low-voltage circuit breaker. The electronic control unit is configured to actuate the bypass switch and the semiconductor circuit arrangement when a prespecifiable overcurrent is detected by the current measuring arrangement.

An electrical AC/DC converter arrangement includes: an AC circuit breaker; a rectifier; at least one smoothing capacitor; at least one first isolating relay for electrical isolation; at least one first current sensor; and a control and monitoring unit. An input of the AC circuit breaker forms an AC input of the arrangement. An output of the AC circuit breaker is connected, at least indirectly by a circuit, to an input of the rectifier. The at least one smoothing capacitor connects a first output of the rectifier to a second output of the rectifier. The first output of the rectifier is connected, at least indirectly by a circuit, to an input of the at least one first isolating relay. An output of the at least one first isolating relay forms a first DC output of the arrangement and connects a DC network to at least one first DC load.

Electrical AC/DC converter arrangement with an AC circuit breaker, and a method for disconnecting an AC/DC converter arrangement

A circuit breaker includes: at least one external conductor section from an external conductor supply terminal of the circuit breaker to an external conductor load terminal of the circuit breaker; and one neutral conductor section from a neutral conductor terminal of the circuit breaker to a neutral conductor load terminal of the circuit breaker. A mechanical bypass switch is arranged in the at least one external conductor section. A semiconductor circuit arrangement of the circuit breaker, which semiconductor circuit arrangement comprises a four-quadrant switch, is connected in parallel with the bypass switch. A current measuring arrangement is arranged in the at least one external conductor section and is connected to an electronic control unit of the circuit breaker. The electronic control unit is configured to operate the bypass switch and the semiconductor circuit arrangement in a prespecifiable manner. A voltage-dependent resistor is arranged in parallel with the bypass switch.

A circuit-breaker includes: an input terminal for connecting the circuit-breaker to a voltage source; an output terminal for connecting t the circuit-breaker to a load; a switching circuit having an input side connected to the input terminal and having an output side; and a separation switching unit connected to the output terminal and to the output side of the switching circuit. The switching circuit includes a first current path and a second current path, the first and the second current path being connected in parallel between the input side and the output side. The switching circuit includes a varistor device and a controllable switching component, the varistor device and the controllable switching component being connected in series between the first and the second current path.

Circuit-breaker with reduced breakdown voltage requirement

A changeover apparatus for interruption-free changeover between two energy supply systems includes: at least one first outer conductor section and one second outer conductor section; a first mechanical bypass switch arranged in the first outer conductor section; a first semiconductor circuit arrangement connected in parallel with the first mechanical bypass switch; a first measuring device for recording a first voltage and/or a first mains frequency, which first measuring device is connected to the first outer conductor section; a second mechanical bypass switch arranged in the second outer conductor section; a second semiconductor circuit arrangement connected in parallel with the second mechanical bypass switch; and an electronic control unit for actuating, in a predeterminable manner, the first mechanical bypass switch, the first semiconductor circuit arrangement, the second mechanical bypass switch, and the second semiconductor circuit arrangement. The first measuring device is connected for communication with the electronic control unit.

Changeover apparatus

A low-voltage circuit breaker device includes: at least one line conductor path from a line conductor supply connection of the low-voltage circuit breaker device to a line conductor load connection of the low-voltage circuit breaker device; a neutral conductor path from a neutral conductor connection of the low-voltage circuit breaker device to a neutral conductor load connection of the low-voltage circuit breaker device; a mechanical bypass switch arranged in the line conductor path; a first semiconductor circuit assembly of the low-voltage circuit breaker device being connected in parallel with the mechanical bypass switch; an electronic control unit for actuating the mechanical bypass switch and the first semiconductor circuit assembly; an ammeter assembly arranged in the line conductor path, which ammeter assembly is connected to the electronic control unit; and a second semiconductor circuit assembly arranged in the line conductor path.

Low-voltage circuit breaker device

A low-voltage protective switching device includes: at least one outer conductor path from an outer conductor supply terminal of the low-voltage protective switching device to an outer conductor load terminal of the low-voltage protective switching device; a neutral conductor path from a neutral conductor terminal of the low-voltage protective switching device to a neutral conductor load terminal of the low-voltage protective switching device; a mechanical bypass switch disposed in the outer conductor path; a first semiconductor circuit arrangement of the low-voltage protective switching device connected parallel to the mechanical bypass switch; an electronic control unit; a current measuring arrangement disposed in the outer conductor path, the current measuring arrangement being connected with the electronic control unit; and a first mechanical disconnecting switch disposed in series to the first semiconductor circuit arrangement and in parallel to the mechanical bypass switch. The electronic control controls the mechanical bypass switch.

A low-voltage circuit breaker device includes: at least one external conductor section from an external conductor supply connection of the low-voltage circuit breaker device to an external conductor load connection of the low-voltage circuit breaker device; a mechanical bypass switch arranged in the external conductor section; a first semiconductor circuit arrangement connected in parallel to the mechanical bypass switch; an electronic control unit; a current measuring arrangement arranged in the external conductor section, which current measuring arrangement is connected to the electronic control unit, the electronic control unit controlling the mechanical bypass switch and the first semiconductor circuit arrangement when a given overcurrent, namely a short-circuit current, is detected by the current measuring arrangement; and a second semiconductor circuit arrangement arranged in the external conductor section in series with the mechanical bypass switch and in parallel to the first semiconductor circuit arrangement.

Low-voltage circuit breaker device with multiple-breaking switch

An electrical protective circuit arrangement includes: a first outer conductor path and a second outer conductor path, the first outer conductor path being arranged in parallel with the second outer conductor path in terms of circuit technology; a second semiconductor circuit arrangement arranged in the first outer conductor path; a first current measuring arrangement arranged in the first outer conductor path and being connected to a first electronic control unit, the first electronic control unit driving the second semiconductor circuit arrangement; a fourth semiconductor circuit arrangement arranged in the second outer conductor path; a second current measuring arrangement arranged in the second outer conductor path and being connected to a second electronic control unit, the second electronic control unit driving the fourth semiconductor circuit arrangement. The first electronic control unit and the second electronic control unit are connected in terms of communications technology.

Electrical protective circuit arrangement

A circuit breaker is proposed, comprising a live line and a neutral line and a semiconductor switching unit located in the live line, the circuit breaker further comprises a bypass line, which is connected in parallel to the semiconductor switching unit, with a first mechanical switch and a second mechanical switch located in the bypass line, with the first mechanical switch connected in series to the second mechanical switch, whereby the semiconductor switching unit, the first mechanical switch and the second mechanical switch are controlled by a processing unit of the circuit breaker, which is embodied to send a first opening command to the first mechanical switch in case of a short-circuit-detection, and sending a second opening command to the second mechanical switch a time-delay after sending of the first opening command.
