A porous chamber for tissue culture in vitro. The porous chamber includes a main body made of porous biologically absorbable polymer material, comprising an inner surface surrounding a hollow cavity, the hollow cavity having an aperture opened at an upper surface of the main body, wherein the aperture is communicated with outside of the main body for seeding tissue blocks in the hollow cavity, and an upper cover passing through the upper surface of the main body to seal the aperture to prevent the tissue blocks from outflowing.

Porous chamber for tissue culture in vivo

A thermo-sensitve copolymer of following formula; is disclosed; wherein Ris hydrogen, or &#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014;R; Ris Calkyl substituted or unsubstituted with functional groups; Ris hydrogen, or Calkyl; and x, y or z individually is an integer greater than 0. The thermo-sensitive copolymers disclosed here are easy to be implanted into a human body through injection. The biodegradability is greatly improved and the cytotoxicity of the copolymers is low.

Thermosensitive biodegradable copolymer

A process for producing porous polymer material. The method combines a polymer and water-soluble granules to form a mixture. The mixture is placed into a mold; the surface of the polymer is dissolved to cause cohesion and form a polymer structure having water-soluble granules dispersed within, and water is introduced into the inner part of the polymer structure so that the polymer is solidified and water-soluble granules are washed out to obtain a porous polymer material. According to the invention, single or multiple layers of porous polymer material with different apertures, porosities, or made with different materials, are obtained by combining different polymer materials and water-soluble granules having different particle sizes in different weight ratios.

Process for producing porous polymer materials

The present invention provides a process for producing porous polymer materials. In the present invention, a polymer material and a soluble material are mixed in their solid states. The surface of the polymer material is partially dissolved and fused by introducing a solvent. The present invention makes use of a pressure difference while introducing a non-solvent into the polymer material to solidify and resolve the solved polymer material. Then, a substantial amount of water is used to wash the inside soluble material out. Therefore, the porous polymer materials with high porosity and interconnecting pores inside the materials are produced massively and rapidly.

A cell-cultivating device includes a plurality of culture tanks and a driving device. The culture tanks communicate with each other and have culture medium inside. The driving device forces the culture medium to flow between the culture tanks so as to vertically oscillate medium levels in the culture tanks.

Highly efficient cell-cultivating device

A method of shaping a catheter tip and an apparatus for shaping a catheter tip are disclosed. A hollow tube is radically preheated, which is non-contact thermoforming. The heated tube is then extent outwards and next cooled. After cut, at least two catheters with taper-shaped tip are formed. The apparatus for shaping the catheter tip includes a twin taper-shaped mold wound by heating coil, a tube extending device, a cooling device and a cutting device.
