Provided are a deforming method and device that use laser-induced breakdown. The provided method and device make it possible to shorten the focal distance, thereby improving laser beam convergence, and increase the utilization efficiency of sound waves that contribute to defoaming. Pulsed laser light is focused and irradiated into a space inside an acoustic waveguide (), thereby generating pulsed sound waves from the illumination point (). The pulsed sound waves propagate down the acoustic waveguide as plane waves, then propagate beyond an open end () as spherical waves, and break up a foam outside the open end of the acoustic wave guide.

Defoaming method and device

In a method for decorating a plastic package, on at least a part of a surface of the plastic package, portions which are different in optical characteristics from the surface are periodically arranged to decorate the surface.

Method for decorating plastic package

There is here disclosed a plastic package () which has a thin-film layered structure () constituted of substances having different refractive indices and which is colored by an interference effect due to the thin-film layered structure (). The plastic package is characterized in that, on a part of the surface of the plastic package, portions which are different in optical characteristics from the surface are periodically arranged.

A structural body has an inner layer formed of a resin which does not transmit light with a specific wavelength, an outer layer stacked on the inner layer and formed of a resin which transmits the light with the specific wavelength, and a fine periodic structure provided on at least part of a surface of the inner layer facing the outer layer and having a plurality of photodecomposition generated convex and concave portions. The plurality of convex and concave portions of the fine periodic structure is formed alternatively, and horizontally and vertically with substantially equal intervals in between along the surface of the inner layer facing the outer layer.

A defoaming method capable of destroying foams generated when a container is filled with drink, or the like, efficiently at a high speed and destroying foams effectively even in the case of a container having a narrow mouth. Liquid surface () in a container () is irradiated with pulse-like light () and a pulse-like sound wave () is generated from an irradiated point () as a sound source. The pulse-like sound wave thus generated propagates from the sound source as a strong spherical wave to reach a bubble () and to destroy the bubble. It can also destroy a bubble located at a place remote from the optical path quickly, thus destroying bubbles efficiently at a high speed. Alternatively, pulse-like light is condensed at a gas portion above the liquid surface and the bubbles can be destroyed with a shock wave generated by breakdown phenomenon.

Defoaming method

Decoration of a material is enabled with a high degree of recycling properties while satisfying the requirements for putting a structural color into practical use on the industrial scale. Furthermore, whether an object is genuine or not can be verified easily, and reusing by peeling as in the case of a hologram seal is prevented. A cavityhaving a periodic structurecausing optical diffraction is formed in the inside of a substrate, and a periodic structurecausing optical diffraction is formed on part or the whole of the substrate. These cavity interface periodic structureand the substrate surface periodic structurehave a regular arrangement developing a structural color. In addition, by bringing a functional material to be in contact with the substrate surface periodic structure, development of a structural color by the substrate surface periodic structureis suppressed, thereby enabling a structural color developed by the cavity interface periodic structureto be read.

A method and apparatus for manufacturing pressurized packages capable of obtaining gas displacement pressurized canned goods with high accuracy of internal pressure by atomizing liquid nitrogen, and supplying it together with low temperature vaporized gases to a head space of a can. A spray device assembly ( ) for atomizing and spraying the liquid nitrogen is provided in an opening of the bottom of a liquefied gas storage tank ( ) formed as a vacuum heat insulating structure. The spray device assembly ( ) is constituted such that a valve ( ) for controlling the flow rate of liquid nitrogen, a spray nozzle ( ), a liquid nitrogen flowpassage ( ) extending from the valve ( ) to the spray nozzle ( ), a nozzle cooling tank ( ) for cooling the flowpassage, and a purge device for cutting an outer peripheral portion of a nozzle and an outlet portion off from the air, so as to prevent them from being frosted, are integrally mounted on a spray body The nozzle cooling tank ( ) always cools the pipe and the nozzle by liquid nitrogen, and enables supplying of the liquid nitrogen to the nozzle having a temperature gradient to the neighborhood of a boiling point, without boiling and vaporizing it from the tank to the nozzle. The liquid nitrogen supplied while preventing of being vaporized to an orifice inlet of the spray nozzle allows to pass through a nozzle orifice in the liquid state to release into the atmosphere, thereby giving rise to a rapid vaporizing expansion immediately after moving out of the nozzle orifice, so that other liquid nitrogen still in the liquid phase state is atomized.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing pressurized packaging body

An object, such as a container cover, is lined on a predefined area of the object by depositing powder on the predefined area. The lining material is formed into a non-spherical powder having a resting angle of 40 degrees or greater. The powder is deposited by fluidizing the powder in a feeder using vibration and conveying the powder through a nozzle to the predefined area. The powder layer deposited on the object is pressed with a molding element to form a lining layer having the predefined shape. The lining thus formed has a predefined thickness distribution and shape with good tightening and sealing properties and corrosion resistance. In addition, no environmentally unsafe processes are required for the precise deposition of powder.

Method for lining with powder

In the deep-drawn molding of a plastic container, a molten plastic sheet is positioned between a plug and a mold. The molten sheet is supported on an upper mold surface portion having heat insulating property and slipperiness, and while a positive pressure is created between the mold and the molten sheet, the molten sheet is molded by moving the plug and the mold relative to each other in a closing direction. By drawing the molten sheet into the mold while allowing it to slide over the above upper mold surface portion, the amount of the molten plastic sheet drawn into the mold is increased, and a container can be produced which has a uniform height direction and a uniform thickness distribution in the container height direction and possesses good appearance characteristics without the occurrence of a drag line in its side wall.
