A display device is provided and includes a liquid crystal display panel; and a backlight device opposed to the liquid crystal display panel; the backlight device including a frame-shaped structure with a first surface and a second surface, the second surface facing the liquid crystal display panel and being located between the liquid crystal display panel and the first surface; a reflective sheet adhering to the first surface with a first adhesive layer; and a light-shielding member covering a side surface of the liquid crystal display panel.

Display device

Provided is a light source device including: a housing body; a light source substrate located over and accommodated in the housing body; a plurality of inorganic light-emitting elements over the light source substrate; an optical sheet located over the plurality of inorganic light-emitting elements, accommodated in the housing body, and spaced away from the light source substrate; and at least one spacer accommodated in the housing body and in contact with a bottom surface of the optical sheet. A region of an upper surface of the light source substrate overlapping the plurality of inorganic light-emitting elements does not overlap the at least one spacer.

Light source device

A display device is provided and includes a liquid crystal display panel; and a backlight device opposed to the liquid crystal display panel via a polarizing plate; the backlight device including a frame comprising at least four bars; a first adhesive layer provided on one surface of the bars; a reflective sheet; a lightguide disposed on the reflective sheet in the frame; and a light source disposed in the frame and configured to emit light to the lightguide, wherein the frame includes a portion that is exposed from the liquid crystal display panel in a plan view, and a resin adhesive layer having a light-shielding property covers an external surface of the liquid crystal display panel and the portion of the frame.

A backlight device is provided and includes case having bottom plate; light guide having front surface as emission surface, rear surface opposed to front surface, and incidence surface that is one of side surfaces of light guide, rear surface facing to bottom plate; light-emitting elements facing incident surface of light guide, each of light-emitting elements having bottom surface and light-emitting surface facing incidence surface of light guide; fixing tape arranged on bottom plate, each of bottom surfaces of light-emitting elements and rear surface of light guide being adhered to fixing tape; and light-shield facing fixing tape through light guide.

Backlight device

To provide a light source device capable of irradiating a liquid crystal display module with light at uniform luminance and a display device including the light source device. A light source device has a rear vessel a front cover, a light source substrate, a plurality of light-emitting diodes, and a light-diffusing plate. The front cover is located over and overlaps the rear vessel. The light source substrate, the plurality of light-emitting diodes, and the light-diffusing plate are accommodated between the rear vessel and the front cover. The plurality of light-emitting diodes is located over the light source substrate. The light-diffusing plate is located over, overlaps, and is spaced away from the plurality of light-emitting diodes. The rear vessel and the front cover each have a bottom plate and a side plate integrated with the bottom plate. In at least one of the rear vessel and the front cover, a portion of the side plate is bent to form a protruding portion overlapping the bottom plate. The light-diffusing plate is located over and overlaps the protruding portion.

Light source device and display device having light source device

Display device is provided and includes display panel; and illumination device provided on rear surface side of display panel, wherein illumination device includes light sources, and light guiding member arranged at rear surface side of display panel, light guiding member has holes which penetrates the light guiding member, light sources are housed in corresponding hole, rear surface of light guiding member has first inclined surface inclined upwardly from light source housed in one of holes, front surface side of light guiding member has second inclined surface inclined upwardly from light source housed in one of the holes, and angle of first inclined surface to center line of one of holes is greater than angle of second inclined surface to center line.

Display device, illumination device, and light guiding member

According to one embodiment, an illumination device includes a light source disposed along a first direction, a light guide plate including a first end and a second end, the second end being positioned to be opposite to the first end in a second direction which crosses the first direction, a frame disposed along the second end and including an inner surface and an upper surface, and an adhesion member disposed on at least the upper surface of the frame, wherein the light source is disposed at the first end along the first direction, at least the inner surface of the frame is a light absorbing surface, and the adhesion member is light transmissive.

Illumination device and liquid crystal display device

A backlight device is provided and includes case having bottom plate; light guide including front surface as emission surface, rear surface opposed to front surface, and incidence surface provided between front and rear surfaces, rear surface being arranged on bottom plate; and light-emitting elements facing incident surface of light guide, wherein light-emitting elements includes first surface provided at bottom of light-emitting elements, and light-emitting surface facing incidence surface of light guide, first surfaces and rear surface are arranged side by side, and fixed to fixing tape attached over first surfaces and rear surface of light guide, and light-shield is facing fixing tape through light guide.

The light source device includes a rear vessel, a light source substrate, a plurality of light-emitting diodes, a front cover, and a light diffuser. The rear vessel has a bottom plate and a first lower side plate connected to the bottom plate. The light source substrate is accommodated in the rear vessel. The plurality of light-emitting diodes is located over the light source substrate. The front cover has an upper plate and a first upper side plate connected to the upper plate, is located over the rear vessel, and accommodates the rear vessel. The light diffuser is accommodated in the front cover, is located over the plurality of light-emitting diodes, and is spaced away from the plurality of light-emitting diodes. The first lower side plate and the first upper side plate each have a notch.

Light source device and display device having the light source device

According to an embodiment, a display device comprises a frame defining an opening, a grip extending from the frame, and a display panel which is held by the frame and whose background is visually recognizable. Further, the opening includes a region surrounded by an inner edge of the frame and the display panel.

A backlight device is provided and include frame formed of sheet material including at least four bars; first adhesive layer provided on one surface of the bars; reflective sheet attached to frame with first adhesive layer; second adhesive layer is provided on another surface opposed to the one surface of the bars; optical member including lightguide plate disposed on reflective sheet in frame; and light source disposed in frame and configured to emit light to optical member, wherein thickness of second adhesive layer provided on three successive bars of frame along three sides of lightguide plate is greater than thickness of first adhesive layer provided on four bars of frame.

Backlight device and display device

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a liquid crystal panel, a case covering a rear surface side of the liquid crystal panel, a backlight device disposed in the case and opposed to the liquid crystal panel with a gap, a first holding member provided on a side plate of the case, and a second holding member including a fixation part attached to the side plate of the case, and a second holding part interposed between an optical sheet and a rear surface of the liquid crystal panel to cover a light source device and an end part of the optical sheet on the light source device side.

Liquid crystal display device

A display device is provided and includes a display panel comprising a substrate; a case provided on a back side of the substrate, the case having an outer surface; and a flexible wiring board, one end of which is connected to a top surface of the substrate, curved along the outer surface of the case; wherein the flexible wiring board is fixed to a side surface of the substrate and the outer surface of the case with an adhesive.
