A molded article containing a crystal of a fluoropolymer. The fluoropolymer contains at least one selected from vinylidene fluoride/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, polychlorotrifluoroethylene, an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, a tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) copolymer and a tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer. Further, the crystal is a nano-oriented crystal having a size of 300 nm or smaller.

Molded article

The present invention provides a processing additive which can bring about improvements in moldability at Mooney viscosity levels at which the dispersibility in a melt-processable resin is high and which further can work at reduced addition levels. The present invention is a processing additive comprising a fluoropolymer having an acid value of not lower than 0.5 KOH mg/g.

The invention provides a processing aid enabling short-time disappearance of melt fracture occurred in extrusion-molding a melt-fabricable resin at a high shear rate, a great reduction in extrusion pressure, and production of molded articles with good appearance. The processing aid contains a polymer containing a fluorine-containing elastomeric polymer segment and a fluorine-containing non-elastomeric polymer segment.

The present invention provides a processing aid for polyolefins capable of improving the processability in processing polyolefins at a temperature lower than 220&#xb0; C. and a high shear rate. The processing aid for polyolefins is intended to be used in processing a polyolefin at a temperature lower than 220&#xb0; C., and contains a fluoropolymer that includes a polymerized unit (a) based on CF&#x2550;CFCFand a polymerized unit, (b) based on at least one selected from the group consisting of monomers represented by CH&#x2550;CXYand monomers represented by CF&#x2550;CXY.

Processing aid for polyolefins and a polyolefin composition

The present invention provides a processing aid for polyolefins which can eliminate melt fracture occurring at the start of molding in a short time even when a polyolefin, which is a melt-processable polymer, is extrusion-molded at a high speed. The present invention also aims to provide a polyolefin composition containing such a processing aid for polyolefins and a polyolefin. The processing aid for polyolefins contains an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer as the only fluoropolymer, the ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer having a melting point of 170&#xb0; C. to 270&#xb0; C.

Processing aid, and composition

There are provided a resin film being excellent in blocking resistance, scratch resistance, transparency, water resistance and chemical resistance and a member having the resin film as an outermost layer. The resin film comprises a vinylidene fluoride (VdF) copolymer and an acrylic polymer as essential components, in which a heat of fusion of crystal derived from the VdF copolymer in the resin film is from 15 to 30 J/g when measured with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and light transmittance (light transmittance at 600 nm of 50 &#x3bc;m thick resin film) is not less than 85%. The member has the resin film as an outermost layer.

A fluorine-containing copolymer comprising ethylene, tetrafluoroethylene, a fluorovinyl compound of the formula: CH &boxH;CFRf in which Rf is a fluoroalkyl group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, and hexafluoropropylene, in which a molar ratio of tetrafluoroethylene to ethylene is from 40:60 to 90:10, the content of the above fluorovinyl compound of the formula: CH &boxH;CFRf is from 0.1 to 10 mole % based on the whole copolymer, and the content of hexafluoropropylene is from 0.1 to 30 mole % based on the whole copolymer. This fluorine-containing copolymer can provide films having good transparency and high tear strength, and such films are useful as weather-resistant protective films, films for agricultural housings, films for constructions, and the like.
