A vehicular camera includes a circuit board accommodated in a housing and a metal shield. The circuit board includes a first component disposed on a second surface and having a first height and a second component disposed on the second surface and having a second height smaller than the first height. The first component is disposed in a position opposite to a second bottom surface portion of a recessed portion of a first bottom surface portion of the shield, and the second component is disposed in a position opposite to a portion other than the recessed portion of the first bottom surface portion of the shield.

An in-vehicle camera includes a lens barrel including at least one lens and being tubular, an imaging element disposed on the circuit board and on an optical axis of the at least one lens, a ring member made of a first resin having a first light transmittance, and disposed to protrude in a direction away from the optical axis over an entire periphery of the lens barrel, and a housing portion a part of which has a tubular shape, and one end surface of the tubular shape is made of a second resin having a second light transmittance smaller than the first light transmittance. The in-vehicle camera further includes a third resin disposed on an inner side of the tubular shape between the ring member and the imaging element in a direction of the optical axis, and having a third light transmittance smaller than the first light transmittance.

In-vehicle camera

An imaging device according to the present disclosure includes a lens unit, a substrate, a housing, and a shield. The lens unit includes a lens barrel in which a lens is disposed. The substrate is disposed on an emission side of light from the lens barrel. The substrate includes a first surface on which an imaging element receiving the light is mounted. The housing houses the lens unit and the substrate. The shield is provided in the housing to face the first surface of the substrate.

A vehicular camera includes: an imaging sensor including a first pixel region having X1 pixels arranged in a first direction and Y1 pixels arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction; an optical system including at least one lens and having an optical axis intersecting the first pixel region; and a memory configured to store a position of a second pixel region inside the first pixel region and having X2 pixels arranged in the first direction and Y2 pixels arranged in the second direction, the X2 being smaller than the X1, the Y2 being smaller than the Y1. The vehicular camera is configured to: read the position of the second pixel region from the memory in response to start-up of the imaging sensor; and output an output image corresponding to the second pixel region while outputting the position of the second pixel region.

A vehicular camera according to one embodiment includes a lens unit, a board, a housing, a ring member, a conductive first shield part, and a conductive second shield part. The lens unit includes a lens barrel in which a lens is arranged. The board is disposed with a sensor that converts light received through the lens into an image signal. The housing accommodates the board. The ring member includes a first opening into which the lens barrel is fitted, and connects the lens unit and the housing. The first shield part is provided to accommodate the board in the housing. The second shield part is arranged between the ring member and the board, includes a second opening having a diameter corresponding to that of the lens barrel, and is electrically connected to the first shield part. The board and the second shield part are electrically connected.

A vehicular camera includes a first shield made of metal and disposed to surround a circuit board. The first shield includes a first bottom surface portion, a second bottom surface portion disposed to be separated from the first bottom surface portion, and a connection portion connecting an entire periphery of the first bottom surface portion and an entire periphery of the second bottom surface portion. At least a first side surface portion, a second side surface portion, a third side surface portion, and a fourth side surface portion of the first shield are formed by a contiguously curved surface, and at least the first side surface portion, the second side surface portion, the third side surface portion, the fourth side surface portion, the first bottom surface portion, the connection portion, and the second bottom surface portion are formed by a contiguously curved surface.
