In a heat exchange unit, a shutter device is disposed on a vehicle front side with respect to a coolant heat exchanger to open and close a passage for traveling air directed toward the coolant heat exchanger. A blower is switchable between a first blowing state in which air flows from the vehicle front side to the vehicle rear side and a second blowing state in which air flows from the vehicle rear side to the vehicle front side. In a case where a switch that makes a vehicle travelable is in an on state, a control unit switches the blower to the second blowing state, while an open degree of the shutter device is set at a closing side from a maximum open degree of the shutter device when a temperature of the engine coolant is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature determination value.

Heat exchange unit

A vehicular cooling device includes a heat medium circuit, a waste heat supply device, a heat exchanger, and a heater. A heat medium circulates in the heat medium circuit. The waste heat supply device is configured to generate a waste heat in accordance with operation of the waste heat supply device and supply the waste heat to the heat medium. The heat exchanger is configured to exchange heat between the heat medium and a lubricant lubricating a transmission of a vehicle. The heater is configured to heat the lubricant that is inside the heat exchanger. According to this vehicular cooling device, since the heater heats the lubricant, the transmission can be warmed up early, and thereby friction in the transmission decreases to improve fuel economy.

Vehicular cooling device

A receiver includes a cylindrical main tank; a cylindrical internal thread component having an internal thread; a cap having a male thread threaded with the internal thread; a sealing attached to the cap; and a filter portion arranged in the cap. The internal thread component is coaxially arranged to an inner circumference face of the tank. The filter portion includes an internal passage extending inside of the cap, and a net that collects a foreign matter contained in refrigerant flowing through the internal passage.

Receiver and receiver-integrated condenser

A paste composition for aluminum brazing of the invention contains 40 to 65% by weight of a metal powder for brazing (a), 5 to 35% by weight of a fluoride type flux (b), 1 to 10% by weight of a methacrylic acid ester type polymer (c), and 10 to 40% by weight of an organic solvent (d); and the component (d) is a hydrocarbon type organic solvent having no aromatic ring and no hydroxyl group and the composition is in a paste-like state having a viscosity of 6,000 to 200,000 mPa&#xb7;s at 23&#xb0; C. and accordingly, the storage stability and applicability (practically, discharge property and pressure stability by using a dispenser) and brazing property can be improved in good balance.

Paste composition for aluminum brazing

A heat exchange tube having a flat shape includes a plurality of fluid paths having a circular cross section and extending in a longitudinal direction of the tube. Each fluid path is parallel to each other fluid path. The tube is dimensioned such that a distance between two adjacent fluid paths is defined as Wt, and a circumferential thickness between a surface of the tube and an outermost fluid path is defined as Ht. The distance Wt and the circumferential thickness Ht have a relationship as 0.42&#x2266;Ht/Wt&#x2266;0.98.

Internal heat exchanger

There is provides a heat exchanger comprising: a plurality of tubes () stacked on each other; and a pair of header tanks (), each header tank () having a flow section () in which fluid flows, extending in a direction of stack of the tubes (), wherein both end sections () of the tubes () in the longitudinal direction are joined to the pair of header tanks (), the flow section () of each header tank () and the inside of each tube () are communicated with each other, a tip position (a) of the tube end section () is arranged in an outside region of the flow section (), and an inner wall width size (b) of the flow section () is smaller than a size (c) in the width direction of the header tank () at the tube end section ().

Heat exchanger

In a heat exchanger, a core has a first core portion including first tubes and a second core portion including second tubes. The first tubes defines first passages through which an internal fluid flows and the second tubes defines second passages through which the internal fluid passed through the first passages flows. A flow direction of the internal fluid passed through a first section of the first core portion and a flow direction of the refrigerant passed through a second section of the first core portion are changed with respect to a direction that the tubes are layered, before flowing in the second core portion. Thus, the internal fluid passed through the first section of the first core portion flows into a second section of the second core portion and the internal fluid passed through the second section of the first core portion flows into a first section of the second core portion.

An evaporator operated with the carbon dioxide gas, comprises at least a unit core including a plurality of heat transmission tubes having a path with a refrigerant flowing therein, a first tank connected to an end opening of the heat transmission tubes and formed with a refrigerant supply path and a second tank connected to the other end opening of the heat transmission tubes and formed with a refrigerant discharge path. The width Lof the unit core is given as 50 mm&#x2266;L&#x2266;175 mm. The equivalent diameter d of the refrigerant supply path of the first tank and the refrigerant discharge path of the second tank is given as 4.7 mm&#x2266;d&#x2266;9.6 mm.

Evaporator

In a high-pressure side heat exchanger for a vapor compression refrigerant cycle, a refrigerant passage is formed such that a flow area (S), a length (L), and an equivalent diameter (d) satisfy the conditional expression 0.04&#xd7;e&#x2266;S/L&#x2266;2.1&#xd7;e. The flow area (S) is obtained by dividing the product of a total cross-sectional area of the passages in one tube and the number of tubes by the path number. The length (L) is a flow distance of the refrigerant from the refrigerant inlet to the refrigerant outlet. That is, the length (L) is obtained by the product of the length of the tube and the path number. The diameter (d) is obtained by dividing the product of four and the cross-sectional area of the passage by a circumference of the passage.

A heat exchanger is used in a vapor-compression type refrigerator where a pressure of a refrigerant at a high-pressure portion reaches and exceeds a critical pressure. A low-pressure refrigerant flows through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger comprises a flat tube; refrigerant channels included in the tube; and inner pillars disposed between the refrigerant channels. A tensile strength of material of the tube is defined as S [N/mm]; of one of the refrigerant channels, a dimension approximately parallel with a major-axis direction of the tube, as Wp [mm]; and, of one of the pillars, a thickness approximately parallel with the major-axis direction of the tube, as Ti [mm]. A heat exchanger includes aligned tubes and upper and lower header tank units, each of which includes two fluid conduits communicated with the tubes. Each header tank unit further includes an intermediate plate, which defines a plurality of communication holes therethrough. Each communication hole communicates between a corresponding one of the tubes and a corresponding one of chambers defined by the fluid conduits of the header tank unit such that each tube is spaced apart from the corresponding one of the chambers.
