An air conditioner indoor unit comprising: a housing; an impeller arranged in the housing and forming a cross flow fan; a rear side plate arranged downstream the impeller and forming a rear side of a diffused air path; a front side plate forming a front side of the diffused air path and including a first air outlet surface, a second air outlet surface and a third air outlet surface; the first air outlet surface arranged near to the impeller and having a portion on a side of an air outlet of the diffused air path slanted in a direction away from a reference surface defined by the rear side plate; the second air outlet surface arranged next to the first air outlet surface on the side of the air outlet and having a portion on the side of the air outlet slanted in a direction away from the reference surface; and the third air outlet surface arranged next to the second air outlet surface on the side of the air outlet end and having a portion on the side of the air outlet slanted at 20.degree.-30.degree. in the direction away from the reference surface.

Air conditioner indoor unit

A sound attenuator has at least one sound absorber composed of a hollow body of a hard porous material and an outer or inner layer of air, and exhibits good sound-absorbing property even in a low frequency range, even if the hollow body has a small wall thickness. The hollow body may be provided with projections or a semicircular or otherwise shaped part or parts, or both, serving to maintain the outer or inner layer of air in proper shape. The device is inexpensive and yet is very reliable in quality. When the device is long, the projections in linear form are particularly useful for restraining any flanking transmission of noise and thereby enabling the device to achieve a higher rate of attenuation per unit length. The sound-absorbing property of the device can be controlled over a wide range of frequencies if the hollow body has a porosity varying continuously in a specific direction. The device exhibits an improved sound-absorbing property particularly in a low frequency range if the hollow body is provided with a skin layer on its wall surface facing an air passage.

Sound attenuator

A blower comprises an impeller which can function to raise the pressure of a fluid and delivers it; a driving device for driving the impeller; and a fan casing which includes a fluid path to inspire the fluid from the outside and deliver it to the outside through the impeller; wherein the fan casing is at least partly formed by a hard porous structural unit whose specific gravity is continuously changed in at least one of the direction of thickness and a direction of surface.

Blower having a sound-damping structure

A fin-and-tube heat exchanger comprises a fin plate, a heat exchanger tube having portions extending through the fin plate, a plurality of fin collars formed in the plate, wherein louvers are provided so as to surround the tube portions except areas nearest to the collars, the louvers are in parallel with one another and project from alternately both surfaces of the plate, the louver which is located at the trailing edge side and at a position near to a central line of the tube bank is longitudinally extended so as to be along the collars and has opposite rising ends extending from the plate slanted toward the corresponding tube portions at an angle of 35 deg or below to the flow direction of the fluid, and the louver which is located at a position nearer to the trailing edge is also longitudinally extended and has opposite rising ends extending from the plate slanted toward the corresponding tube portions at an angle of 35 deg or above to the flow direction of the fluid so that the angle between the rising ends slanted at an angle of 35 deg or above and the rising ends slanted at an angle of 35 or below is 35 deg or below.

Heat exchanger

A rolling piston type compressor comprises a cylinder; a piston eccentrically rotating along the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder; a vane which is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the piston, performs reciprocating movement therealong, and defines the cylinder interior into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber; a discharge port to discharge compressed gas outside the cylinder; a discharge valve provided in the discharge port; and an escape groove formed in the inner peripheral wall of the cylinder and extending in the direction opposite to the rotational direction of the piston with respect to the discharge port.
