Disclosed are a single rotor-type axial gap motor with low magnetic loss and high output, and a pump device using the axial gap motor. A first contact surface () is provided on the lateral surface in one circumferential direction of a yoke strip (), and a second contact surface () is provided on the lateral surface in the other circumferential direction of the yoke strip (), wherein the first contact surface () and the second contact surface () are aligned with each other. Defining Asand Asas the surface areas (As) of the first and second contact surfaces (), and Apand Apas the projected surface areas (Ap) of the lateral surfaces of the aforementioned yoke strip seen from the circumferential direction, it holds that As&#x3e;Ap.

In an axial air-gap electronic motor having a stator that is formed by annularly connecting a plurality of core members around an axis of a rotor output axis, an insulator that insulates a winding portion of a stator core of each core member is formed in the winding portion in the shape of a bobbin having a pair of flanges, a winding draw-out portion is formed between abutted end portions of the flange, and a crossover wire of a winding is pulled out from the winding draw-out portion to outside the core member, whereby it is possible to positively perform routing treatment from the winding portion of the winding to the crossover wire and it is ensured that the crossover wire can be positively fixed without bringing a crossover wire of a different phase into contact.

Axial air-gap electronic motor

In a method of manufacturing a rotor of an electric motor to be arranged inside a stator, a permanent magnet is formed in a ring-shape, and a rotating shaft and the permanent magnet are concentrically arranged in a mold. Then, a rubber material in a fluid state is poured into a space between the permanent magnet and the rotating shaft to vulcanize and mold a cushioning member having predetermined hardness. The permanent magnet and the rotating shaft are integrally coupled through the cushioning member.

Method of manufacturing rotor of electric motor

A radial-air-gap induction motor is constituted so as to have two air gaps by setting a rotor between a cylindrical outer stator and inner stator in order to improve an efficiency by increasing the ratio of torque/(square of current) by a two air gaps, apply windings for generating a rotating magnetic field to the outer and inner stators, and form squirrel-cage windings on the rotor.
