A hydraulic brake system for a vehicle, including: a wheel brake device configured to generate a braking force based on a pressure of a working fluid; a first brake system including a high-pressure source device including an accumulator and a first pump device that is driven intermittently such that a pressure of the working fluid in the accumulator is not lower than a set lower limit pressure and not higher than a set upper limit pressure; a second brake system including a second pump device; and a main power source that supplies electricity to the first and second brake systems, wherein the hydraulic brake system includes an auxiliary power source that supplies electricity to the first brake system when a failure occurs in the main power source, and wherein the first pump device is continuously driven when the failure occurs irrespective of the pressure in the accumulator.

Hydraulic brake system

A vehicle brake system, including: a first hydraulic-pressure control mechanism and a second hydraulic-pressure control mechanism configured to control a braking force; and a controller including a first-abnormal-state detecting device configured to detect whether the first hydraulic-pressure control mechanism is in a first abnormal state, a second-abnormal-state detecting device configured to detect whether the first hydraulic-pressure control mechanism is in a second abnormal state that the first hydraulic-pressure control mechanism reaches before reaching the first abnormal state, and an assist control device configured to control the second braking-force control mechanism so as to control the braking force when an assist wait time elapses after the second-abnormal-state detecting device has detected that the first hydraulic-pressure control mechanism is in the second abnormal state, the assist wait time being determined based on a temperature of a working fluid obtained by a temperature obtaining device of the brake system.

Vehicle brake system

The braking device for vehicles includes a reduction amount setting part for setting the amount by which to reduce the revolution of a pump motor during maintenance or reduction of controllable differential pressure so that the reduction amount decreases as the probability increases of needing to discharge the brake fluid by pumps, during a period from when a brake controller begins reducing the revolution until the lapse of prescribed time.

Braking device for vehicles

This vehicle brake device comprises: a simultaneous driving determination section which determines whether it is necessary to simultaneously drive an upstream-side motor and a downstream-side motor; and a PWM control section which, when the determination result by the simultaneous driving determination section is in the affirmative, changes the duty ratio of the PWM signal to be output to the upstream-side motor so as to be smaller than when the determination result by the simultaneous driving determination section is in the negative, and uses PWM control to drive the upstream-side motor.
