Provided is an aquaculture system, including a water tank holding seawater and housing shellfish or fish to be cultivated, a water intake unit for introducing the seawater into the water tank, a draining unit for draining the seawater in the water tank, a first bubble generator that generates and supplies microbubbles with a diameter of not less than 10 &#x3bc;m and not more than 100 &#x3bc;m in the water tank, and a second bubble generator that generates and supplies nanobubbles with a diameter of not more than 10 &#x3bc;m in the water tank, wherein the seawater in the water tank is exchanged by simultaneously carrying out introduction of the seawater using the water intake unit and drainage of the seawater in the water tank using the draining unit.
