A rotor used for a motor includes a rotor core, and a plurality of permanent magnets embedded in a corresponding plurality of embedding holes in the rotor core configured to include flux barriers at both ends of the plurality of embedding holes in the rotor core and to include a plurality of magnetic poles. The rotor core includes a plurality of grooves on an outer peripheral surface, the plurality of grooves, with the two paired grooves, are away from an axis that becomes the q-axis when the motor is operated, and are arranged symmetrically about the axis, and the rotor core has such a cross-section that a first angle between two lines passing through the two grooves and the center of the rotor core is smaller than a second angle between the axis-side end face of the two flux barriers adjacent to each other across the axis.

Rotor with magnet and embedding holes

A rotor includes a rotor core formed by stacking electromagnetic steel sheets having anisotropy, which means that magnetic characteristics of the electromagnetic steel sheets in a first direction along a rolling direction are different from magnetic characteristics of the electromagnetic steel sheets in a second direction obtained by rotating the first direction by 90°, the rotor core having 4n magnetic pole portions formed along a circumferential direction, and magnets mounted in the rotor core in each of the magnetic pole portions. The 4n magnetic pole portions include a first magnetic pole portion formed in a region including the first direction and a second magnetic pole portion formed in a region including the second direction, and a total magnetic flux amount of the magnets per pole of the second magnetic pole portion is larger than a total magnetic flux amount of the magnets per pole of the first magnetic pole portion.

Rotor

A control apparatus for a synchronous meshing mechanism that is equipped with a gear, a sleeve, a synchronizer ring, and a hydraulic actuator is provided. When it is determined that the sleeve and the gear have been rotationally synchronized with each other in an engagement transition period of the synchronous meshing mechanism, an electronic control unit with which the control apparatus is equipped sets a command pressure for the hydraulic actuator to an intermediate pressure that is lower than a meshing completion pressure. Besides, when meshing has not been completed even after the lapse of a predetermined time from a timing when the command pressure for the hydraulic actuator is set to the intermediate pressure, the electronic control unit sets the command pressure for the hydraulic actuator to the meshing completion pressure.
