An insulated conduit for use in offshore, deep water environments includes a pipe and a fluoropolymer composition. The pipe has an outer surface with the fluoropolymer composition disposed about the outer surface of the pipe for providing a thermal insulation layer. The fluoropolymer composition includes a fluoroplastic polymer present in an amount of at least 50 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the fluoropolymer composition. The fluoropolymer composition also includes a fluoroelastomer present in an amount of a fluoroelastomer present in an amount of from about 20 to about 50 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the fluoropolymer composition. The fluoropolymer composition has a thermal conductivity less than about 0.20 W/mK at 205&#xb0; C.

To provide a fluoro-rubber composition whereby good hardness and good elongation are obtainable in a rubber article after cross-linking, and a cross-linked rubber article using the same. A fluoro-rubber composition comprising a fluoro-rubber, a hydrophobic silica and a cross-linking agent, wherein the hydrophobic silica is one having hydrophobized with hexamethyldisilazane or silicone oil, and the content of the hydrophobic silica is from 1 to 50 parts by mass and the content of the cross-linking agent is from 0.1 to 5 parts by mass, per 100 parts by mass of the fluoro-rubber; and a cross-linked rubber article obtained by cross-linking such a fluoro-rubber composition.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a nonwoven fabric which is excellent in the heat resistance and the chemical resistance, of which the fiber diameter is small, which is excellent in the strength and of which the maximum pore diameter is small. A nonwoven fabric made of an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, characterized in that the nonwoven fabric is mutually fused continuous fibers of an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer which has a melt viscosity of from higher than 100 to 1,500 Pa&#xb7;s at 240&#xb0; C.
