A driving assistance device includes a storage device configured to store a program and a processor connected to the storage device. The processor executes the program stored in the storage device to acquire information about a target position decided on as a position relative to another moving object located in a second lane when a host moving object merges or changes lanes from a first lane to the second lane and cause a speaker to output a sound obtained by combining a basic sound for acceleration guidance with an additional sound for the acceleration guidance having a higher frequency than the basic sound for the acceleration guidance when the host moving object should accelerate such that position alignment related to a traveling direction of the host moving object is performed with respect to the target position.

Driving assistance device and driving assistance method

A vibration damping actuator including: a cup-shaped housing; an output member disposed spaced apart from an opening end of the housing; a guide rod disposed on the output member and positioned inserted into a guide hole; a coil member provided to one of the housing and the output member; an armature disposed on an other of the housing and the output member, the armature being adapted to exert actuating force on the output member; an annular fixing member arranged about the output member; a support rubber plate disposed between the annular fixing member and the output member; and a positioning projection formed at an inside peripheral edge of the fixing member by projecting the inside peripheral edge of the fixing member in cylindrical configuration in an axial direction towards an inside of the housing. The positioning projection is disposed at a location situated inward by a predetermined distance from the opening of the housing for positioning the fixing member relative to the housing.

Active vibration damping actuator and active damping apparatus using the same

An active type vibration isolating support system includes: an elastic body for elastically supporting a vibratory body; a liquid chamber to be defined by the elastic body; a movable member for changing capacity of the liquid chamber; and an actuator for driving the movable member. The actuator has: a fixed core; a movable core coupled to the movable member for being arranged opposite to the fixed core via an air gap; and a coil for generating an electromagnetic attracting force between the fixed and movable cores. The movable member and the movable core are coupled together through coupling units capable of adjusting the air gap. Thus, without preparing several types of coupling members, it is possible to obtain a desired vibration isolating characteristic by freely adjusting the air gap between the fixed core and the movable core.

Active type vibration isolating support system

A liquid-filled engine mount is disclosed which includes a rubbery elastic member interposed between an engine and a vehicle body, a diaphragm positioned in opposed relation to the rubbery elastic member. The engine mount defines a liquid chamber therein. The liquid chamber holds an actuating liquid therein. The liquid chamber has a partition wall disposed therein. The partition wall separates the liquid chamber into primary and secondary chambers. The primary chamber is provided on a side of the elastic member while the secondary chamber is provided on a side of the diaphragm. The partition wall has first and second orifices extending therethrough. The first orifice communicates with both the primary chamber and the secondary chamber. The second orifice communicates with the primary chamber. The first and second orifices provide different resistances to the liquid flowing therethrough. The engine mount includes a resilient means for urging the diaphragm against the partition wall to close an opening of the second orifice. The engine mount includes a diaphragm driving means for forcing the diaphragm against a resilient force the resilient means exerts on the diaphragm to thereby open the opening of the second orifice, such that the second orifice communicates with the secondary chamber. The diaphragm has plural projections formed on a surface thereof.

Liquid-filled engine mount

A vibration damping actuator including: a guide hole open onto a bottom face of a housing; a lid metal plate fitted into the opening of the guide hole with a size enough to hinder inward displacement thereof into the guide hole by an annular shoulder portion; an engaging groove disposed on an inner circumferential surface of the opening; a snap ring of C-letter shape fitted into the engaging groove to prevent the lid metal plate from becoming dislodged from the opening; and a sealing rubber layer formed covering an inside face of the lid metal plate. The lid metal plate is pressed by the snap ring so that the sealing rubber layer is pushed against the annular shoulder portion, thereby sealing the opening of the guide hole.

An active vibration isolating support device for preventing the direct transmission of vibrations from an engine to a vehicle body frame includes an electromagnetic actuator for driving a movable member in a reciprocating fashion to change the capacity of a first liquid chamber. A shaft portion of an armature driven by a coil is supported by a bearing so that it moves along an axis, whereby the size of an air gap can be maintained as small as possible, thereby making it possible to miniaturize the coil. In addition, a connecting rod for connecting the movable member with the armature is supported so as to sway relative to a coil spring and a saucer spring, whereby the vibration of the movable member is prevented from being transmitted to the shaft portion of the armature.

Active vibration isolating support device

An engine is supported on a frame of a motor vehicle by a plurality of engine mounts. At least one of said engine mounts are positioned on a main axis of inertia of the engine, and has substantially equal vertical and lateral static spring rates, a vertical dynamic spring rate greater than the vertical static spring rate, and a lateral dynamic spring rate between the vertical dynamic and static spring rates. The engine mount is effective in reducing muffled sound in the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle without impairing riding comfort of the motor vehicle.
