A contact lens according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a lens unit to be placed on an eyeball; and an optical device that is mainly provided in a circular region opposed to a pupil that becomes small by contraction in a case where the lens unit is placed on the eyeball, and provides an action that is different from an action of the lens unit to light entering the eyeball.

Contact lens

A contact lens according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a lens section that is worn on an eyeball; an acquisition section that is provided in the lens section and acquires biological information; and an output section that outputs the biological information acquired by the acquisition section to an external apparatus to be worn on a human body. The output section has one or a plurality of coil antennas extending along a front surface of the lens section, and a capacitor that is coupled to the one or the plurality of coil antennas in series or in parallel.

Detection device for placement in contact with the eye of a user

The present technology relates to a detection device, a detection method, and a program capable of detecting a living body state of a human body easily and accurately. A contact lens type display device is provided with a tear detection unitto collect tears on an eyeball and to analyze a constituent and detect affective information of a user. The detection result is sent from the contact lens type display deviceto a mobile terminal SP and displayed on the mobile terminal SP. Consequently, the living body state can be detected on the basis of the constituent of the tears of the user, whereby the living body state of the user can be accurately detected. The present technology can be applied to a contact lens type display unit.

A method of obtaining directivity in an optical waveguide includes the steps of falling incident light on surface of diffuse reflection members arranged at a center portion of the optical waveguide, generating a first table relative to an amount of emitted light that is acquired at a circumference of the optical waveguide by controlling at least one of an image control factor for changing an image of the incident light and a coordinate control factor for changing coordinates of the incident light with them being changed, and generating a second table relative to a pattern of the light which is incident to the diffuse reflection member by seeking for a combination of the image and the coordinates of the light based on the generated first table.

Method and apparatus of obtaining directivity

An &#x3b1; value in a desired shape in a desired position can be rewritten to a desired value in a desired range. &#x3b1; value rewriting units for rewriting an &#x3b1; value showing an opaqueness degree of an image are provided. When the desired position comes, an area setting signal is outputted in a desired shape from an area setting signal generating unit. While the area setting signal is being outputted, in the &#x3b1; value rewriting unit, an &#x3b1; value of inputted image data is rewritten to a desired value. The rewriting of the &#x3b1; value can be dynamically realized independent of software. By preparing a quadrangular area calculating unit and a circular area calculating unit as an area setting signal generating unit, a quadrangular area and a circular area can be set by hardware.
