Embodiments of the present invention provide a spring loaded attachment mechanism for attaching a camera to a camera support or base. In one embodiment, a camera attachment apparatus comprises an attachment socket connected to a camera, the attachment socket including an aperture extending in a longitudinal direction and a pair of cutouts disposed laterally on opposite sides of the attachment socket; a spring having a pair of spring arms disposed respectively at the pair of cutouts on opposite sides of the attachment socket; and an attachment pin including a post having a longitudinal axis and configured to be inserted into the aperture of the attachment socket along the longitudinal direction, the post including a pair of seats disposed on opposite sides of the post to receive the pair of spring arms of the spring via the pair of cutouts of the attachment socket.

Spring loaded attachment mechanism for camera and base

A device to automatically dispense the proper amounts of dry baby formula and heated water to make liquid infant formula. The baby bottle is held in place in a pivoting transfer arm with a clip that fastens around the neck of the bottle. After the powdered formula is dispensed, the transfer arm swings the bottle to the water dispensing station. Water heated to the desired temperature is added to the bottle, and the formula is ready to be mixed and served.

Device to automatically prepare infant formula

A computer in which a disk drive is mounted in the computer chassis. An actuation assembly is provided for actuating the disk drive and includes an arm that engages and actuates the eject button of the disk drive upon movement of the actuation assembly and the arm in a first direction. A button is provided in the cover for the chassis which, when manually pressed, engages the actuation assembly causing movement of the actuation assembly and the arm in the first direction to actuate the eject button. The arm is configured to engage and actuate eject buttons having different sizes and/or at different locations.

Computer with an improved disk drive eject button actuation assembly

A technique for minimizing the height of a portable PC comprising a lid and a base when the lid is in a closed position is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, the lid of the PC is rotatably connected to the base in such a manner that, when the lid is in a closed position, a bezel for retaining a display within the lid depresses one or more keys positioned along the periphery of a keyboard disposed on the base, thereby reducing the height of the PC in an amount equal to the distance the keys are depressed. In one embodiment, the keys depressed by the bezel are only depressed so far as to leave a slight gap between the top surfaces of the nondepressed keys and the surface of the display, thereby preventing the nondepressed keys from scratching the surface of the display. In an alternative embodiment, the display is fabricated from or coated with a scratch-resistant material. In this embodiment, the gap between the keys and the display may be eliminated such that the display is permitted to contact, and perhaps partially depress, the keys that are not in contact with the bezel, thereby further minimizing the height of the PC.
